I feel really bad for Greg. This event is going to seriously fuck with his views for his show, which is slated to start tomorrow. Greg has already flown out to shoot it (I think its in another state, the False Hawks guy are giving him a location to use) so I don't think he will be postponing. I hope they either let him use the fishtank site or he somehow pulls a bunch of viewers anyway because he worked really hard on preparing for this. I was down to watch seGREGated for the long haul but I will tune out if we get more yoobles and dingus kino. Jet could have at least warned him that this would be happening at the same time. I remember Greg saying he would postpone for the Burt/Frank event if it lasted longer and this was still when he planned to start his show March 1st. For this reason, I seriously doubt he knew this stream stars thing would be happening, and now it might be too late to change plans.

Not gonna lie, seGREGated sounds infinitely better than watching some guy drink his own piss and rev up a motorcycle in his room. That shit isn't funny, it's just try hard cringe and it makes it hard to believe those people will ever make it on Fishtank because I could see Sam getting tired of these people fast. Greg's whole event sounds like the opposite of try hard cringe since he says it's going to be a slow burn and not as mean or disgusting as Fishtank. And Frank Hassle is going to be involved. I'd be surprised if Greg loses viewers to any of those retards streaming on the FT site right now, it's impossible to just sit down and watch any of them without wanting to turn your computer off and go do something better with your time.

as with everything Fishtank the rules are non-existent. yesterday we got all of ab's call outs for those eliminated via jet. yet plenty of others with that angle remained...

today had a "dance-off" elimination challenge (a vote between that or for "most viewers").
it started out with bring-your-own-music and got later halted to switch to copyright free tunes only and further reduced to blood games OST / kevin macleod / urban lullaby only.
staff eventually pressed for a vote if it was long enough which surprisingly got voted through (ending it after 4hs). feels like there weren't more than 4 or 5 elims from this.
people were also allowed to join part way through it...

We now also have a "stream stars" point system in place.

It's not easy to make sense of those numbers but it seems the uptime% makes very little dent given that Burt wasn't on _that long_ (he slept on the site however) and people like big_dingus were MIA. this also goes alongside Jet's announcement that people with jobs don't have to worry and can get their shot at being a "stream star" on the weekend.
