With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Sam in confessional with Daniel, talking about how 'fucking with production makes the show hard to produce'. Fucked up that mentioning the r9k shit is what did Jin in, even more fucked up in a funny way that Jet had to call Sam in to kick Jin. Apparently he made a Cole reference, incredibly rent free.

The easy fix and middleground to the eternal "MDE fans vs clueless normies" casting debate is to get people who aren't MDE fans and aren't familiar with Fishtank at all, but they do know its going to be a Fear Factory style gross out show so they won't walk out when things get tough. Hide the show name during casting like S3 so they can't look it up, basically just get normies prepared for crazy shit.
That way, Sam and Jet don't have to stress about markyposting or Jet's /r9k/ past getting referenced and spread with their new fishtank audience like S2 and this currently on-going S4, but they don't have to coddle sensitive sallys like S3. It seems like a natural progression of what they've learnt from previous seasons.

(if true) damn, i talked a lot of shit about Sam lol. i mean, some of what i said still stands, and he may have still had a hand in it, but holy fuck Jet is a faggot. dont think i'll ever be defending him after this, you were all right. what im wondering is, why doesnt the rest of production push back against him? why does he get so much control that he can snap his fingers and get rid of somebody like that? they're all responsible. even Ben, who people rarely shit talk. Jet needs some sense slapped into him.
