To be fair, Direnc overpowered Daniel and it took 4 people to hold Angie down. I don't think the men are particularly strong this season.

I would assume they’re too timid and are concerned about crossing lines.

While I enjoyed the night due to the antics of the candy challenge, I don't understand why you'd purposely eliminate someone this early.

Unrigged elimination challenges do not belong on Fishtank. Eliminations are controversial enough, as they’re usually a net negative for content unless the short term content made from the elimination exceeds the potential long term content from the fish. But that only happens with nontent fish like Mauro or Ian. But if they are going to go through with it and have a fish eliminated it should never ever be somebody making content.

They rigged the finale in season one to guarantee Letty would be in it. Why? Because she was the main source through which content flowed. No Letty meant no villain. No villain, no show. While there are technically fish who remain to fill the gap that Angie left, that in no way justifies putting the show in an uncomfortable position to maintain feelings of legitimacy and fairness. It’s Fishtank. if you want to create an illusion of fairness just count the candy in the basement and get rid of Seth. Wasn’t he covering up his vape pen earlier? Say he was smoking weed and dump him.

Personally, I find Direnc to be insufferable personality wise. I think she soys out too much, tries to involve herself in shit when she should just shut up (the Xavier magician thing was a good example of this) and she can deal it out but can’t take it. That being said, if she was eliminated I’d be pissed because her contribution to the show is undeniable. Stop eliminating content making fish.

Maybe going forward they should have shorter seasons but have more at stake sooner instead of dragging it out for a really long time and nothing ever seems to matter.

My take on yesterday is that it was one of the most intense days in Fishtank history, it's up there with The Cell 3 with Burt and Simbal's final showdown. I give Drunch a lot of shit in sneedchat but she was great yesterday and was essential. She proved that she has what it takes to get tough when she needs to and everyone in the tank was shocked at her lol. More importantly to me, Drench set the stage for Dan and Angie to have their final face off which was just spectacular.

My opinion on Angie was a roller coaster, I started off hating her, then I started liking her, and then I went back to hating her even more. Angie losing her face off with Daniel was the best way for that to end I think. Despite everything, Angie was a good fish and she did great things in giving us content but unfortunately she fucked around and found out. Although I think we all know that Angie will return as a freeloader.

I believe that Dan and Angie's rivalry is going down as one of the best and most iconic rivalries in Fishtank history.
