With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

The space between San Antonio and Austin seem to be a hub for online content creators. I know a lot of gun tubers congregated around Demolition Ranch, and I think IP2 Hunger Games was in that vicinity.

Maybe better than Nevada? Though Nevada tolerates literal whorehouses.

Either way, getting a small ranch property were the structures aren't visible from the road, and is completely fenced off, would probably be the best set up assuming the local government isn't going to cause issues.

I hope that they go over what their plans were for the rest of the season had it not gone wrong.
They'll probably save it planning to recycle it later.
Alright, so since they said any of the fish can forfeit their 8k and return for season 5, who do we think is going to be in and out?

I'd say Ellie is a hard out because of school. Don't know about the rest.
Probably not, I don't see any of these Fish being able to sit on $8k for several months to then pay that to get back on the show.

Anyone blaming the wiggers for not filing the correct paperwork or whatever the fuck doesn't understand that any property is in violation of at least one obscure regulation, and if it isn't you can lie or exaggerate to fuck the owner over.

The process is the punishment.

Ben’s gaslighting Sam and Jet into thinking 3 separate cities are pursuing criminal action against an obscure internet show. Meanwhile, Sam sells the property at below-market value to shell companies controlled by none other than Ben the Jew. Ben sells the properties at huge gains and uses the sale proceeds to finally take on the Famous Neighborhood.

If the local government wants to fuck you over they will. The failure this season is definitely productions fault in some capacity but this is also a direct result of the resurgence of Sam in the public eye. Sam and Fishtank getting plugged on Rogan's podcast by Shane Gillis and the Elon video has a lot of eyes on Sam, MDE and Fishtank that normally wouldn't be.

Funny how all of this is happening in the wake of all of the Creator Clash failure drama. It makes me compare the two situations. Both parties could tell the thing they were trying to do wasn't going to go well, as it hadn't in the past, yet still proceeded to go through with it without changing much of anything besides financial shit. Though, The Raped was 500K in the hole, and I'm hopeful that even Jet is smart enough to not do that much damage.

I don't understand how they managed to fuck up like this. If anyone thought to consult any attorneys who know about these things before even beginning work on the show, maybe this wouldn't have happened. I agree that the law is stupid and whatever but it exists and still has to be considered. Apparently Jet wasn't aware that he should have put a legal condom on before he fucked all those neighborhoods.

can anyone verify that the guy who owns the s1 house is having real criminal charges brought against him? i don't think we've seen any proof of it, correct me if i'm wrong
i'm still :optimistic: in the back of my head, not out of trust in the wiggers grand plan, but out of suspicion.
the combo of "week 2 is gonna have a CRAZY twist before this season", thinking back to how low energy/checked out sam was during the season (he didn't even have a spinoff character), and the fact there isn't an immediate cash grab or filler on the site (remember s3 RV where we had the animated screens for downtime? streamstars? all the little weird shit they throw in during the season? they've always had SOMETHING as a small gimmick to keep things going), it all has me a little skeptical. if its over that sucks hard but... dare i say it doesn't quite feel right

No, almost nothing is confirmed. I thought back earlier to the bodycam footage they released last week. Both times the cop(s) come up to the house, and at least one was familiar with the show to some degree or at least that they were doing a production there. Both incidents end within a few minutes. Then all the sudden a few days later the home owner has "criminal charges" against him? What am I missing here? I really dont think it could be pErmiTS, or else why would the cops seems to nonchalant about it in the first place?

Strange stuff

After all of the neglect and ignorance from the wiggers, their mistake finally blown up in their faces now. It's especially funny if you seen Jet's expression during that video, he looks like a kid who got forced to make an apology cause he made a big mistake and he realized it.

It's a pretty big move if Sam and all of his wiggers move to another state cause I'm sure they have pretty big setup already in RI, so I'm not sure if he will move with Jet and co. If Sam decided to stay in RI, Jet should try to find a place in Texas near where Alex Stein lives/work and make him the new host of Fishtank since Sam won't be near him anymore. He's the perfect fit cause he mesh well with FT environment and has experience in showbiz. I also like him on S2 and I really like him on S3.

One thing for sure though, These couple of months will be a "make or break" for Jet, he either has to step up so Fishtank can continue or be replaced by someone else. I'm sure he and Sam had a long talk about how they gonna take Fishtank after this shit unfold.

What a disappointing end to the season, I think S4 is now my least favorite season unfortunately. Even before all the moving around I wasn't quite feeling it what with the lack of significant theming and Sam not even being in character half the time.
Also if they are selling the s3 house I guess that means BG2 is cancelled too. BG1 was magical and my favorite fishtank anything. I was really looking forward to Jan's big show :(
