can anyone verify that the guy who owns the s1 house is having real criminal charges brought against him? i don't think we've seen any proof of it, correct me if i'm wrong
i'm still :optimistic: in the back of my head, not out of trust in the wiggers grand plan, but out of suspicion.
the combo of "week 2 is gonna have a CRAZY twist before this season", thinking back to how low energy/checked out sam was during the season (he didn't even have a spinoff character), and the fact there isn't an immediate cash grab or filler on the site (remember s3 RV where we had the animated screens for downtime? streamstars? all the little weird shit they throw in during the season? they've always had SOMETHING as a small gimmick to keep things going), it all has me a little skeptical. if its over that sucks hard but... dare i say it doesn't quite feel right
The owner of S1 house has some sketchy background himself. Though it's not sure if he still owns the house. This concern was already brought up on FT wefunder page two years ago and it seems the wiggers answer to it really age very well.

This makes the "unlicensed lodging" charge seem a bit more credible. I don't really see Cowboy associating with someone like that though, and everyone's been saying the owner of the house is Cowboy's friend.

Edit with more info: it looks like the house is still currently owned by the Zhang guy that is noted in that investor comment according to this: https://gis.vgsi.com/swanseama/Parcel.aspx?pid=100851

tbf Marve Harry comes across like a total schizo the way he "asks" those "questions" that are more just manic stream of consciousness accusations. Because of the way he speaks I just immediately assume he is not credible and will not investigate any of his claims. If he's actually right about everything that's too bad, he simply should have not come across like a lunatic.

even though its for the best and basically their only option moving forward, i still have worries about the show being set in another state. Sam, for example, is already cranky enough sometimes when hes only a drive away from home. if hes to show up throughout the entire season, hes either going to be living out of a hotel, which would probably fuck him mentally and carry over onto his show performance, or he'll have to buy a new property nearby, which is a place he can temporarily live, but not quite a "home" where he can get all of his normal work done. we all know hes not committed to live in the basement for the six weeks like the wiggers. i dont know, i just have a hard time believing they're just NOW figuring everything out and that S5 is going to go without its hiccups.

I can appreciate Sam Hyde's weird attachment to the area he's from but it really does get in the way

I hope a certain boomer wakes up in a room one day and the first thing he hears is a familiar computer voice saying “Hello casesummer, Wild Randy here. Let’s play a game. J j j j j j j j j j j j j j j j!”.

I saw this clip from Alex Steins show posted on the subreddit.

You could interpret this and Sam's demeanor on the show leaning more towards obligation than passion. I don't think that is unreasonable. Sam has been a good host, even if he can cause issues in the dynamic at times he is mostly a good presence.
I think the show needs Sam, it is so ingrained with MDE and Sam is MDE at the end of the day. If this is just Jet's show I don't think that works.

I was thinking something similar but was also thinking if they need to rebuild FT and create proper infrastructure somewhere interstate Sam will need to decide if he's going to be all in instead of showing up for an hour or two each day disinterested and looking at his phone. He seemed pretty checked out this season and it's not what you want from a host.

If they're going to move it to another state, then it means it'll be 12 weeks a year he'll be away from Rhode Island. It's not great, but it's a lot of money to leave on the table if he doesn't want to do FT. Realistically, they could just rent an Air BnB house nearby so Sam isn't living on site and it's not like he can't do other work while doing Fishtank. Also doing FT probably keeps Sam's profile more present than if he just did nothing but spending 2-3 years making a season of World Peace.

Moving across the country might be just the situation needed for Sam to distance himself from the show, let Jet spread his wings and ride high on the galaxy gas clouds with more creative control, for better and for worse

people over on Twitter are coping that because the fish are seemingly still hanging out at the S3 house based off of their IG stories, that they're planning Bloodgames. personally, i think its a load of cope. IF they havent flown back yet, they could just be hanging out a few extra days since they were expecting to be out there another month. and given them having issues at the S3 property as well, i just dont foresee it. the only thing making me think its possible is that they didnt mention BG in their address last night, so its kind of up in the air. it'd be a great way to tide us over until S5 which will probably be at the tail end of this year or next year, but my doubt is strong. this may be the end of Schitty as we know it.

They did say that all properties were fucked in the statement. I don't think it is general knowledge that Bloodgames was shot on the Season 3 house property within some of the communities so some people are confused.
Before this season the new school of fish were all spending some time, a few days or less, at the Season 3 property secluded from each other. They all just went back.
