He locked his account like a week or more ago and removed "head of personnel at Bloodgames" from his bio at the same time, which was long before the shutdown and there's no way Sam had made the decision to nuke everything that early. Sam might not be "on" all the time, but when he is, he creates some of the best moments. i really do think hes needed for Fishtank to be at its full potential. you think Jet or Ben would have been kicking Freddy around?

Sam's role is necessary because he's the only person on the show that everyone respects and/or fears. He's as close to a boss as they've got, and I have a hard time imagining a replacement host being able to pull the authority over the cast AND crew that Sam has.

A new host would be a figurehead and everyone knows it. There will be blood in the water if that happens.

As we know, the homeowners for the s1 house are Zi Qian and Jun Zhang, who are father and son. Not sure the extent of which these two have been discussed in the community, but these guys are rich as fuck and do fucked up shit because they can. They were both named in a lawsuit, Fun City Trampoline Park LLC v. 1275 Fall River Ave LLC et al. In short, they're getting heat for pretty much taking a trampoline park business right out from under tenants of their property and making it their own. Alongside that, it appears Jun Zhang has other ongoing civil cases regarding unpaid wages, labor laws, etc. He does have a criminal record as well. There's even a reddit snark page for the daughter/sister of the two, Mei. This family is facing a ton of heat in the courts already, and when the police came to the s1 home the last time, some 33 year old from Cedar Rapids was given a summons arrest for breaking and entering and assault. I don't know if this was mentioned anywhere either, but it's all public record if you look up the house address. That being said, with what happened at the house regarding the B&E charge along with the permit issues on the wigger side and the behaviors/ pre-existing legal issues of the homeowners, it's fair to assume Zhang(s) probably told them they had to go because they couldn't handle another legal matter and especially couldn't handle being associated with the wigger crew any longer as it would make them look that much worse in the public eye.

Funny how Sam ranted for like 45 minutes about jeet immigrants, including their business practices, but will work closely with chink immigrants who do the exact same shenanigans.
