With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

On a side note, it occurred to me the other day that Season 1 is the only main season that can really be called “successfully completed”. The back half of Season 2 was unwatchable, Season 3 had the R.V., and obviously Season 4 had some sight issues.

Bloodgames may have had some hiccups and derailments, but it also concluded successfully.

But I do agree that ConGREGated will be a light shining in the darkness in these trying times, this unforeseen content drought.

Frank was there the entire time. Frank, his girlfriend, and the False Hawks guys who let Greg use their place to film were basically the wiggers of that operation.
Just my opinion and maybe a hot take but SeGREGated was pretty boring until Burt showed up for the final 2 days. I watched it live for all seven days but didn't no life it by any means. Most if it just felt like a typical Greg stream but with much higher production value and a fishtank camera setup. Chill vibes, food based challenges, a spyro let's play, and paying to give him shots. Greg streams, and most of SeGREGated are tolerable background noise but not necessarily interesting or funny. Still, Greg tries very hard and has put a lot of work into ConGREGated. It should be good.

Season 1 was definitely the most cohesive season and it never really felt like it dramatically fell apart. Granted, it had far more downtime than the other seasons on average. It's amazing how the seasons have just fallen apart more and more since then. Season 2 started to get that dark, "wiggers gave up let's just take it out on the contestants" vibe faster than all the others. Season 3 started with the highest highs and most effort IMO, but fell apart in much more dramatic fashion and the nontent was even stronger. You could tell Jet and Sam were phoning it in since the reveal of fishtank proper. Season 4 felt phoned in the entire time but was still very entertaining.

It's pretty cringe that Angie seems to be trying to hold a real grudge against Daniel even though she knows he's just really autistic and was on a crazy comedy gameshow. It's over, get over it. You would think these people would just laugh about this stuff after the fact. I don't think Dan has shown any animosity towards Angie since the show ended, unless I'm wrong in which case someone correct me.

It reminds me of Vance immediately after s1 ended and how real and personal his grudge with Letty was. So gay. He eventually got over it but I doubt Angie will.

it would be fun to do a Bachelor style mini season dating with Jimmy where they tell all the women that he is insanely rich and really motivated to get serious with someone.

There was a tv show back in the day where they tricked a bunch of hoes into competing for the affections of some broke, dumb construction worker who they said was a multimillionaire. It would be funny to see sam give jimmy a makeover, critique his conversation skills, and educate him on rich guy things in preparation for the show. Maybe he is too insane for it and Alex B would be a better fit.

Everything I hear about the tank that gets played up as some damning evidence or smoking gun is stuff that I assume everyone would assume about jet. You mean to tell me that this handsome gentleman uses his position of clout to win over women?
