With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Despite expressing my thoughts on Greg's solo content earlier in the thread. He's now made me watch two of his streams in one week. Which is 200% more than I normally would.

During the show Scott claimed that he showed up to some event he was hosting and had to be escorted out for pushing drugs which is an insane thing to say about aryeh lmao

He pretended to take it with grace at the time, but since then has gotten pissier and pissier about it. He got especially mad because they brought in that fake martial arts guy to teach people fake street self defense or whatever, I think around the time the Stickermule mule was there. He showed on Twitter that he has a Bloodgames 2 Zippo with "Yeah...no" engraved on it, so I assume he was invited back for BG2, but I guess since that's canceled or on hiatus he's given up pretending to not be pissed at Jet.

Though, to be fair, he has low double digit viewers on his streams so it's not like it's ever going to get back to Jet.

EDIT: Extreme Peace ep 4 was good. Weakest bit IMO was the "Are you smarter than a gay guy?" because the actors refused to play it straight. My favorite sketch was the smashing glass in the bar one, even though it was stupid it was really funny.

never cared much for this ginger. he has no aura or soul (ha ginger joke) and is just generally not very entertaining. kind of odd how he feels entitled to making an appearance every season when most of the fans dont care for him or his shtick of shutting down content to make everyone train.

He could be okay on bloodgames if they said he was like a monk fighter or something and made him do stupid shit
I can't think of anything he could have done in s4 though, particularly since it was such an abbreviated season.
 
Scott was initially an ok presence in s2, watching the fish suck at karate was entertaining enough at least a few times, but he really started wearing out his welcome during bloodgames. Then his presence in bitchtank was pretty much a net negative and he had the whole "joke" of fucking Haley in the bathroom which really rubbed people the wrong way.
He should just move on, it's clear he's not in the wigger's good graces anymore.

An Aryeh/seth/ellie fitness arc would’ve been cool. Biggest Loser vibes with some violence. They need to figure out a way to make the show interesting before 5pm.

Sam’s interest in boxing seems to have waned, but if they end up in Nevada, I could see them incorporating more boxing/MMA. Most “professional” boxers seem to be broke, crazy, and super right wings. And has Sam ever given up a chance to cosplay as a high school jock?

Seems like they shafted quite a few people for S3 and probably not worth it in the end.
If they had Bex and a bigger better production team it probably would have not burnt out as hard for sure.
 
Alex B has started a FIshtank stream {important parts at the start about confirming being alone in the new house w/ the monkeys and being involved in S5/Bg2, phase 2 is tomorrow and I tuned out after he did his 3rd or 4th obnoxious victory lap so he may or may not elaborate on that}

getting rid of bex was a massive L imho.
everyone loved bex and she actually seemed competent/good at her job
