With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Is there any proof or examples of him doing this is. I know he crashed out a few times, but I think that's because they scammed him out of the 50k and he was becoming lucid enough tor realize how much they scammed him.

Latest Burt's stream was the best one in a while. Here's some clips and a recap from memory:
  • Frank gaslights Burt into thinking some random drunk woman is talking to cops about him
  • Burt is paranoid about being accused of rape while Frank is shouting insults at her (while she's surrounded by cops)
  • They wait till cops leave to confront her, but she's gone by the time they come back
  • They walk around park and talk shit about people, especially Aryeh
  • Frank pressures Burt into sitting next to some mudslim, then to hit on him
  • Mudslim gets aggressive, photographs Frank and walks away
  • Burt is made to smell his seat as he watches from afar
  • Burt hits on another guy, but he just exits the park
  • Aryeh gets hassled, tries to sneak away to call a friend
  • Frank notices Aryeh and follows him, Aryeh is trying to make excuses hoping Frank leaves him alone
  • Aryeh starts hastily walking away out of the park, talks to a cop asking for directions hoping it scares Frank (it didn't)
  • Frank lets him go and comes back into the park, but Burt is nowhere to be found
  • He streams solo for a bit. Then looks for Burt
  • Frank gets assaulted by a masked person, but cops quickly help as the park is surrounded by them
  • Frank is on the quest to find Burt. He calls him and threatens to give the streaming phone to a random person on the street if he doesn't come back. Burt was eating at some hamburger place at the time.
  • Aryeh comes back with a bunch of zoomers who are looking for some attention from the stream. Apparently they heard Aryeh talk on the phone about streaming and he just couldn't say no to them
  • Frank tells them Aryeh is a pedophile he caught in a sting and hypes them up to go after Aryeh
  • Burt and Frank reunite, hang out a bit before Frank has to go
  • Burt drives home in an Uber, asks the driver for his shoe size then sings Stacy's Dad
  • At home, chat gaslights Burt into believing Frank's lie about Aryeh being a pedo
  • He gets riled up over time while waiting for Aryeh to arrive home
  • Aryeh gets questioned, but looks suspicious and only fuels Burt's paranoia
  • Burt picks up an axe and asks Aryeh to pack up
  • Dexter theme plays, Burt ends the stream while staring into the camera

Burt seems to be doing well on the podcast circuit, like a Howard Stern side character. It's a good niche for him given his mental ability to do much else.
Maybe Famous house was real after all.

I guess the winner of Famous House really did end up becoming famous to some extent. Burt being Burt aside, I'm kind of glad things seem to be working out for him. If you were to put Alex B or Binx somewhere like a Matan podcast or 4Fun video, they wouldn't be able to generate even a fourth of the comedy Burt does just being himself.

Alex is very funny when the right person is bouncing off of him, but I think his motor mouth would be annoying to most people trying to work with him. He's also pretty un-self aware yet doesn't like being the butt of a joke, but that's often when he's funniest. Binx was pretty boring once the cast got whittled down to a few people, she's only good as a shit stirrer.
Burt seems to have the most potential because he's insane but is more self aware and doesn't mind leaning into his insane side for laughs

I agree 100%, while both Alex and Burt are lowcows the difference between them really is humility. Alex is a delusional narcissist who thinks his 3rd grade tough act is actually admirable, while Burt is aware enough to know he acts insane alot and will play into that for laughs. Any project with alex is doomed for conflict which can work with a shit show like fishtank, but makes any other project really difficult. If you put Alex on 4fun he would have tried to make the entire thing about himself instead of being the funny side character like Burt.
