With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I’d say they were the most cohesive cast and worked well together. During famous house there was a lot of reality tv hijinks and candy theft that some of the more passive fish even got in on. Id say the worst fish from season three were better than some of the mid fish from other seasons. At the very least the overarching gaslight made their delusions of grandeur enjoyable to watch and mess with, even if they as individuals weren’t churning out content.

They will never make anything as good as Famous House ever again. I hope I'm wrong but it was a perfect storm, that concept with cast members like Burt and Alex was pure gold. They'll probably never be that lucky even with just casting again.

Did they get kicked from eleven labs or did someone convince Jet it would be cheaper to use a locally hosted thing like qwen-tts? Those all sound like crap. The Xavier one doesn't sound at all like him.
 
The Xavier voice is cursed and should be canned. Alex B's is hit/miss but I think he's like a supreme test for AI to do convincingly. The rest are whatever.
Brainrot voice is a funny idea and lends itself to clips at least but I don't know why it sounds slightly off since that's like the default TTS voice to use these days.

S2 and 3 had the best cast. S1's cast was somewhat boring, so everyone focused on the foids, and S4's cast was a proper mess

S2&3 had cohesive casts that worked well with one another and were a good mix of autists, schizos, freaks, and normies.

Burt and Alex B are all-timer fish, same with Jimmy, Shinji, and TJ, and Letty and Josie were memorable, vance, jon, and ty were the only other fish in S1 that made good content. S4 was hard-carried by Aryeh, Daniel, foids, and rachel.

It's an easy mistake to make. For some reason I've placed him mentally as a season 3 contestant. I only just now remembered he was actually in season 4. Perhaps because he was actually entertaining.

freddy was just the degenerate hyperactive element, every season's had one of those. he got majorly cucked by the rest of the fish moralfagging him too, unlike Alex B who was super easy to trigger with TTS and very tame bits.

but yeah, he did contribute a lot and was a great contestant, he just wasn't novel or terribly memorable. good half the season he was just hungover too.

MILKCOUCH was very funny tho, and probably the only thing i remember being memeable from S4. That and "Waped and Ewiminated" being spammed at daniel right before the whole show ended lol.
 
Rachel, when she wasn't xannied up, was a bad fish.
Rachel on her pills, and slipping and sliding around the house was a better fish.

Abandoned by his allies, mocked by his enemies, Mr. Stancil only had one place left to go to regain his honor. He'd show the chuds at MDE that even 6 weeks in a torture house wouldn't break his center-left spirit.
