With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

on this topic, the first episode of the latest season of black mirror ("Common People") has as a major plot point a website that is suspiciously similar to streamstars, down to the aesthetics, wouldn't be surprised if jet ripped it off too

Makes me wonder why there aren't more fishtank people in the game. Sam, Jet, Ben were probably off the table due to being a bit too controversial (though Chris is in it so who knows) but for sure Letty, Jimmy, and maybe Alex would have done it. Airsoft Fatty would be down too. Jon would think doing cat sounds would be too gay.

Probably just who accepted.
It was a free job Edmund put out for people to suggest and asked if anyone wanted to do it on his twitter.
I doubt anyone else saw or cared.

Burt will basically do anything for attention and Josie its probably right up her ally with games she plays
 
I think this season will be pretty good. The game show aspect needed to be taken a bit more seriously if they're going to use fans because fans also know that the games are completely irrelevant. Season 4 showed what happens when fan contestants are more focused on being liked than competing, and it was a mess. There were funny moments but zero real stakes. Prior seasons had the illusion of stakes due to the contestants not fully understanding what they were walking in to.

i asked AI and they said multiple reality shows such as The Mole and The Traitors and The Hustler all follow this format. its not really a brand new idea. According to AI, Fishtank is a retarded version of a reality show from 20 years ago called Windy City heat,

He's too self-concious about his gayness to be a good lolcow. He also can't take a joke and really want to be taken seriously. Recently, I watched his stream and throughout the stream he just talked about Epstein, comparing him to Jet, analysing Kanye West musics to see clues about the Epstein files, and talking about business with his buddy while on stream. It's all really lame and gay.

Out of all the fish who have lost their popularity and goodwill, Jon is the most miserable out of all of them. The only thing he can do to be popular again is to huff gasoline with his friend Sammy while driving a nissan altima and crashing it into a ditch.

Also ADL2 is going live in April so he’s going to try to compete with S5 and fail miserably.
