Bullet being removed is great news! I'm feeling Allah made it happen due to Bashir's moping about unfairness and shiii.

Slightly related: I can't remember a single instance where Jet (or Sam) admitted they were wrong about something FTL-related before this season. Can you?

Introducing the Fishtank Pyramid of Success with legs Wiggers, Contestants, and Audience. TL;DR they're getting rid of the elimination bullet. Also they're fine going back to working at McDonald's if this doesn't work out and they just want to hand out a $50k check on day 30.

Wiggers cut to the basement. Jet, Ben and Bam are in frame looking like they just got a call from some sort of powerful state official that threatened their lives.

They proceed to use the same kind of manipulation tactics that they were laughing at Emma's boyfriend for, blaming the audience for making the show bad and making them feel bad, and then threatening that "they'll just go work at mcdonalds" (suicide hehe) if the audience doesn't like it.

Bullet is also removed.

I don't remember any, but the transparency of prod is actually good. Although the doomers are all taking as proof this season is dead in the water

I mean we're the ones who wanted the cell right away instead of waiting until today, but I think prod should have just done it today and not asked the fans

The bullet was always a terrible idea, it gives Fish incentive to eliminate popular competition and that's a horrible prospect for the health of the show.

Also I think the Hellhouse segment of the Fandom is being very loud and annoying about the lack of "Content" where in their mind Content is literal torturing the contestants, and Productions mistake was giving into them.

This is their entrance:

Intimidating Beth and telling her how to survive in the Fishtank house:

We're going to blow you up with a nuclear missile:

With Jet developing his thoughts on the bullet and elimination, I think I want to add my autistic two cents to this.

I think this constant drive to "democratise" eliminations is hurting the show. Democratise by giving fish control over eliminations, the longhouse develops. Democratise by giving the audience control, you end up with simp-armour contestants and lots of petty/paypig-driven eliminations. I think it'd be best to have a competent showrunner eliminate based on merit and content. Any "objective" elimination system is prone to being gamed (and I don't blame anybody who's trying to game it), but in pursuit of an entertaining show, decisions should be made solely based on what benefits the show both in the short term and long term. And, for what it's worth, the wiggers have done a decent job with this season so far.
