With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

He's doing that because of the fake reason for getting rid of Alex B, I think. At this point I think Bashir is jumping through every point he can make to justify his rival being removed. He's that guy after all.
Yeah that's what I meant. Vicky admitted she only said that because it was a tactic to make guys stop fighting back. It's just a faggy way to retaliate. James very obviously isn't going to murder Bashir and Bashir knows that, he's just being a gay fag trying to get him in trouble.

So slowed down, Bashir is only pushing it with his left hand. His right hand is gesturing and isn't on the door until after it makes contact. I don't know for sure if that truly alters how intentional it was. I could very well be wrong, but my tentative opinion is that if he truly wanted to attack Drake with the door, he would have had both hands on it to better aim it, but who knows.

You may want to replay that to see where his right hand is positioned, guiding the door forward, while his left hand pushes. He aimed it.

Lets let her choose like those movies where they let the dog pick who to be with or whatever, we can both stand on opposite sides of the room and call out to her and whoever she goes to she chooses
BRB learning some choice Russian phrases.

Honestly production doesn't even care. Is someone getting kicked? Nope...well for now at least.

Bashir needs to just own it. The guy complains about rules and morals then spergs out just like everyone else.

"Burt, they are trying to keep from you the information hidden in the beds, in the dorm!"

some would say getting a door broken on top of you would be starting a conflict, just saying lol.
If you actually look at the video Drake pushed the door to the left, away from Bashir - clearly trying not to hurt him, and he doesn't hurt him at all. Whereas Bashir purposefully drives the edge of the door into Drake's temple, clearly aiming to hurt him. Therein lies the difference

We can't know intent without Bashir honestly sharing that. I believe he did it without thinking but we'll probably never know 100% unless he talks about it himself. By now, he and James Drake have cemented their own version of events anyway so... yeah. We'll never know how it really was in the moment. Doing frame by frame analysis is useless, we know what happened.

Whatever anyone thinks about Bashir, he has been the show's punching bag more than anyone else this season, including JD. Everyone they bring into the house goes after him. Every fish at some point has betrayed him, I'm pretty sure.

I will say, after throwing the dye into Bliccy's eyes, and pushing a door into Drakes face, the next time Bashir gets violent will get him kicked, and all the Bashir fans will act like it came out of fucking no where.
I generally agree but not on the dye. People have been squirting all sorts of shit in people's eyes and faces all season including piss. Food safe dye is probably the least dangerous thing going into anyone's eyes this whole season

But, in your clip, his right hand is only off of it for a second. When he pushes it into Landon, it's back on the door, with the palm obfuscated.

And given the angle of the push, he would've needed his right hand to push it against Landon the way he did. His left hand wouldn't be able to cleanly push it back like he does:

It changes little, both are equally retarded for the same reason: Not knowing when to stop.
Drake shouldn't had kicked that door off the hinges, Bashir shouldn't had pushed the door at Drake face, Drake should had walked away after being hit with the door instead of swinging, etc.

More Jetxplaining:
Exact quote word-for-word: "Okay, James pushes the door, loses his cool. Does anything hit Bashir in the head? Let's watch it frame by frame, the top trim piece comes at a mile an hour, misses his head. The door falls and hits his shoulder. Hanging on his shoulder, he's not hurt, There's nails in the door by the way."

"James pushes the door, loses his cool"
"The door falls and hits his shoulder."

But Bashir made the first aggression :^)

Everyone they bring into the house goes after him.
Re-iterating on this one again: everyone feels burned when they rallied to try and get Drake out during the first siege and all came out of it looking like idiots. He lost all face when Drake mogged them standing in the hallway covered in shit while Bashir rambled about how the game was rigged because he lost an 8v2.

Also I've supported Bash everytime he's been a real nigga, or at least laughed a lot. Vodka on Beth? Great. Trying to haul Emma out the door? 10/10. Wrestling Laura to the mat? Damn right bitch had it coming.

But fuuuuuuuuuck dude. You really know how to leave a sour feeling shortly after with words. It's really no surprise his diplomacy doesn't work.
