He's right to doubt him cause Bashir does have a history of saying one thing but doing another. I do think Bashir is being sincere here, but I can't fault someone for doubting it or taking it as shallow words.

The only person preventing boxing from happening is Bashir. And he just reiterated why that is as James Drake is trying to goad Bashir into fighting.

James Drake so far has refused to admit any wrongdoing and instead keeps saying "If we're gonna fight, let's fight."

I'd be mad too if my face was irrevocably ruined and my amazing acting career was down the drain. Poor Drake. Now his only prospect is stay at home dad that stepped up

Idk in older seasons this is at the point of fight or fuck off so it's not like we've had this tension before. Bashir's just doing the whole 'your circle is large' bit and neglecting he had the same motion/army like 5 days ago before everyone turned on him. Punching each other in the head probably is the only actual solution now.
