Same. I started a new job 30 days ago and it's become a part of my daily routine at the same time as I've adjusted to this new job. Is it pathetic to admit this show has become a part of my daily life? Yep!

I have basically had it on every day I've been home. Wake up, put it on, leave it on while I do anything else, sleep. If I work, I'll watch segments on my phone. I left for PAX East and still checked in on my phone.

I'm not looking forward to going back to not watching this shit. But it was also my first season of fishtank so since I've been introduced to the past characters I'm very interested in going back and watching the other seasons.
The curated episodes fortunately aren't close to the same experience, they're made by retard superfans who have a shockingly bad grasp on what's actually funny/good about the show. It's better than nothing but yeah it won't hit like watching live and no-lifing did.

Name my band.

I had to keep pausing and explaining to my friend that Brian was not as important as the edits made him out to be for the S2 episodes.
Also they basically glossed over Shinji which was the most insulting shit since he was one of the best S2 fish.

You can watch the S1, S2 and S3 episodes but you'll burn through them pretty fast and it isn't the same. Otherwise it's very hard to watch long form footage of the past seasons. There's also a long Bloodgames fan edit out there that the wiggers hate because it's good.
The wiggers apparently hired the guy who made the Bloodgames edit to make an even longer version. They said this on the audition streams pre-season 5. Unless they're lying, then they don't hate it.

Fishtank has a story and everyone fits into a character archetype that is important for the edit.
This is how they view it instead of focusing on the show itself they're molding the footage to fit what they want. It's so bad I didn't even finish the season 2 edits and haven't even checked on season 3. Season 1 was hilariously bad when Jet was directly involved after hyping them up and hinting they wanted it to fit into a normal TV slot which was extremely odd coming from someone so far detached from traditional media.

Cool, I look forward to seeing it in 2028.

I like Brian but yeah he's the definition of Potential Man and the edit milked it hard. The Shinji thing is a perfect point, so much of early-mid S2 was tuning in for when he'd just monologue at the bar, stuff like that is lost to super curated edits.

It's been a minute but if I remember correctly the edit straight up framed it that Shinji had been doing nothing but "being confused and Japanese" for the whole season up until his furniture theiving. Which might be the worst revisionist history any Fish has gone through.

Pretty bullshit to waste a night, announce season extension, then undo it. Wiggers built up a lot of goodwill this season but now it’s pretty much gone.
