With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Letty/Josie's final challenge was mud wrestling in a half inflated kiddie pool. TJ/Shinji was supposed to be wrestling but they changed it at the last minute to boxing for some reason.

Draw a line down the middle of the room, or put up a net like tennis or volleyball. Whoever has the least goo on their side of the room after x amount of time is the winner. Done.

James has reach and athleticism and can pick up and throw more goo at once. Twins have 4 hands. Pretty even.

ETA: Truly though, the wiggers are retarded for wasting all the goo on a challenge when they could have sold it for like $30+ a pop to paypigs.

They could even split it into several rounds with recuperation and pep talks in between. Recruit a freeloader for one round. Other variables like losing use of a hand for a round. Endless possibilities.

It would actually be kind of a challenge too because the goo isn’t solid and so is hard to throw. The runniest goo would splatter everywhere making kino. The goo wasn’t an effectively slippery wrestling medium like jello or mud.

A lot of people in here are clip chimps/Episode Watchers/new and do not know they admitted TJ was going to be given the win regardless of the boxing match result, it just helped that he Homer Simpson'd it for a win. It wasn't close to as epic as people made out, and people were mixed on the ending at the time.

Letty was great on BG and S4 but fucking sucked in this season, do not let her in production ever again. They seem to actually be doing night shifts for the most part now, autocam isn't on that often and they only sleep when the content actually dies down. I'm all-in on the no e-girls thing but half this thread loved Vimp so that's clearly a point of contention.

Dumbgay was fine this season, him vs Burt for FH host was a good bit and I wish they leaned into it instead of Alex B who always backs down from it. There were multiple other freeloaders who were way more of a detriment to the product.

All it takes is for one or both of them to start publicly hanging out with guys on/off cam and watch the simps wither away. These are the same Josiecels who will jump on the next autistic quirkchungus contestant in S6.
 
I've been watching all day and reading a ton of opinions. One I saw was that yes, the final challenge was always going to be a physical combat challenge that a 95lb Bingo and 147lb Bongo would NEVER win against a guy who is 170lbs with abs and fighting experience. That was a given.

I've seen people argue that the Goo Wrestling could of just not of happened but production said from the start the Goo would play a vital role in the finale so it was always going to be the last challenge no matter who the final 2 were. It's just unfortunate that the final 2 was so physically mismatched.

BUT there was 38 other challenges the Twins could have won that were not one-sided for James Drake. The twins, natural artists, bombed on the graffiti wall tag challenge, they also bombed on the "most traumatic thing that happened to you" challenge. Production called them out on it and so did the freeloaders. There was many times where the Twins needed motivation and pep-talks just to perform at level that production felt was worthy of the finale and they still did not really do it.

After the show, Jet and Ben are sitting on the couch answering the rest of the TTS that fans are submitting and one TTS was bitching about how unfair the final challenge was and Jet's response was "If the Twins would of pissed and shit their pants they woulda won". What Jet is saying, just like the opinion I read, is that everyone is harping on the Twins losing the final challenge but they need to harp on the fact that the Twins did not perform very well at all in all the other ones.

Now with all of that said can you imagine if the roles were reversed? If the Twins had the lead 18 to 15? And James Drake was the one who was behind? I'm pretty sure production would have wanted the final score to be 18-18 leading into the Goo Wrestling challenge because if not, no one would have wanted to watch the final challenge knowing that even if the Twins lost, they would still win. In fact, the Twins could have just conceded that challenge and let James win and still took home the $50,000 without wrestling James and then show would be over and it would solidify itself as the worst ending ever.

So maybe this all does fall back on production in the end because I do not see production just letting the Twins or James Drake win the finale in a blow-out performance. They know fans want to see tie-breakers and they want to build suspense. With that said, they should of scrapped the Goo wrestling for another Goo related challenge that wasn't combat related.

However production will always use the excuse "The Twins had 38 other challenges they could of won if they actually tried. All they had to do was piss and shit themselves to win $50,000". Even though we all know that production wouldn't have let them won that way.


Also I feel like James Drake shitted in his pants long before the "shit your pants" challenge. I just feel like he did it thinking or knowing that it was going to be a thing and competed with shitty underwear on.. I know I'm probably delusional in thinking that. I've never seen someone shit on command like that and I don't think he's the person to do it. Maybe I'm wrong though.
