Big shout out to you guys in the sneedchat. This season was absolutely at it's best when laughing with everyone in there.

I kind of liked the ending to the season. The actual finale challenge aside, because we all know it was completely in favor of James with the wrestling match and we didn't need to see the twins get slaughtered like that. The season actually ended. Fully complete without too many inconveniences. This is the first season in 2 years to end in the way the wiggers wanted. Again... the ending kind of sucked. But the wiggers haven't had a proper ending to a season like this in a long time. The more they end the show on their own terms the better the show can get? Maybe that's why I enjoyed it?

I need to remind myself I'm talking about the wiggers. Alright I'm dooming again.

No people were calling it rigged because Jet constantly glazed Drake and specifically set up the final challenge to have fetish fuel of Drake choking women for him. Shit was genuinely unpleasant for everyone even with burt trying to get the hype up for the fight.

This is something I've been discussing with a co-worker of mine. We are currently in what I call the Blane Timeline.

Blane Timeline:
- Blane finds the last bag of candy
- Landon Eliminated
- Jeopardy is won via Twins knowing family guy trivia
- Bashir loses to Drake in physical challenge
- Drake bodies twins in elimination challenges

Alternate Timeline:
- Blane forgets the last bag of candy
- Twins Eliminated
- Bashir bodies Landon and Drake in trivia
- Drake vs Landon water melon challenge -> Drake win
- Finals are Drake vs Bashir

I think, with the challenges that were in the finals, Drake was still set up for the win. Bashir wouldn't beat him in wrestling or shave his head. But I would be interested in how things would have played out differently.

Yeah... I would be lying if I said Drake wasn't a good fish. He may not be from "our world" but he adapted to the fishtank energy and became what he needed to be in order to win. I don't particularly like him myself, mainly because people who do adapt feel a bit on the fake side, but I'll still acknowledge his feats. He wasn't nontent, and he never gave up.

I think to me it just feels bad because I genuinely do believe the Twins locked in and closed that gap fair and square. My evidence is that Jet initially said before goo wrestling the next challenge was the "penultimate" challenge. But when they recessed they changed it to the final challenge after realizing the score was tied up. Twins took time to warm up both days but they earned their spot.

I feel like any challenge, even if it slanted to James Drake, would have felt better and honored his legacy more than something the Twins had legit no chance of ever winning in a million years and made him look like a monster even when he still wasn't giving 100% to avoid genuinely hurting them.

I think once people cool off and the recency bias fades the season will be remembered as a solid 3/5 largely in spite of production not because of it.

I think it was a really good season and didn't understand what people were complaining about during the first three weeks. But the way they fucked the ending up is what soured Season Five for me.

They shaved their head and eyebrows as girls, said "nigger, spics, and chinks" without hesitation, and kept fighting a man twice their size even as their faces went purple. That is more than equivalent of pissing and shitting yourself, it was just impressive how fast he did it and he earned his win. But they earned their spot.

And then have the ending be "haha you have to fight james drake"

The clip of him hugging it out with the Twins after and them telling him they believe he fought the hardest and deserved it should be enough to calm both camps. James is a good dude who likes to compete. The Twins gave it their all despite everything. Anyone trying to say otherwise is taking this shit more seriously than the actual people that competed.

The Jet thread on here, and the entire history of /bant/, is proof that people will tard out for years over their favourites not winning/sleeping with production/xyz. That being said his operation is pretty small time and insulated so I doubt it'll do that much even if people ween out.

Now that Ive slept on it, Drake did deserve that win. It does feel like finale would have been much better with Bash vs Drake. Im just little happy twins got something out of it, to hopefully help them out a bit in life situation, but it does feel they didn't really understand locking in till the end.
