With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

    Votes: 56 7.3%
  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

    Votes: 87 11.4%
  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

    Votes: 170 22.2%
  • 4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

    Votes: 405 52.9%
  • 5 Stars — Peak Fishtank / Masterpiece. Non-stop insanity, legendary fish and production, pure chaos

If Bloodgames 2 happens it needs to be with Xavier as the host or just pack it all in.
Hard agree. They had lightning in a bottle with Xavier and he made the entire season. Without him it won't have the same energy, imagination, and hilarity. Even Sam wouldn't be enough. They need Xavier to make it special.

Oh there is. But it's something I found weird. She was 23 at when she did Fishtank and was a neet. I don't know how you could be out of school for five years and not hold down some sort of job. Something about female neets is unsettling to me more than male neets.
All she ever talked about doing in her life on s1 was being on discord and playing fall guys, she never used to shave and very much was rotting as a person. She has changed a lot since S1 but it still feels very fake and skinwalkery when you see how different it is.

She gravitates towards the most weird/autistic guys whenever possible I've noticed, like she is drawn to them in a kinda weird way

The ex that dropped the nudes was into her being hairy

I've been watching for them to post the drawings/stories they made in the tank, but I just noticed Bingo spent some of her scrolling time going through and hearting every positive comment on her music. That's a lot of work when you sleep 23 hours a day.

Next season needs a cohesive theme. It can devolve like S2's theme but it needs one badly. This has been mentioned a million times but it's more important to talk about than ever while they prepare for S6.
The novelty wears off of any project over time, Fishtank is no exception. One of the reasons S3 was considered among the best is because they had the balls to do something very different, and it mostly paid off. They wouldn't have to change anything else about the show, the chaos and style of humor would remain mostly the same.

The important thing is to ensure seasons can't be easily compared to each other. It's the only way to prevent the same slow decline that every continuous media project on earth has faced. S5 was way too easily compared to S1 and thus ran off a lot of normie fans. The instant magic of just throwing retards together in a house with cameras isn't as potent as it once was.

Some shit off the top of my head:
  • Murder mystery in the style of Clue (ideal imo, constant investigations and "spooky" elements, lights flickering, bonus points for scaring normie contestants)
  • "Hellhouse's Kitchen" (chef attire at all times, food related challenges every day)
  • Dating show (split the house between girls and guys, do nonsense "compatibility" challenges constantly)
  • Wall Street (finance bro nonsense, suits mandatory most of the time)
  • Office (mentioned before, would be mad funny)
  • 90s (strict, every last drop would be themed)
  • Hotel (single-night guests, bellhops that steal shit, "room service", continental breakfast challenges, fake elevator, etc)
  • 50's imminent nuclear apocalypse house (slowly changes into schizo prepper house over time)
  • Some kind of indoor LARP (house is a castle with constant fairytale challenges, pirates, samurai, scifi, idgaf)

I think one of my favorite aspects of S5 is the organic themes. All of the final 3 carried very strong and esoteric religious beliefs, there was an early organic divide between the retards and normalfags, and there was the whole fish v freeloader/family house arc. A vague and stilted plotline could help with pacing, but I still think filling a house with random weirdos is a self-sustaining model.

My ideal theme for Fishtank season is 90s UFO cult. Psychic Alien shit. Jet clearly likes this idea but couldn't run with it.
After that it's trap house - get actual YN's in the house. Make Sam and Ben play wiggers consistently(jet hams up a sleazy producer nepstein role). Basically do bumfights and nigger shit wars with fishtank fans as the cast, see how they react. Cast a black weeb. Cast a real ex-wigger with a cringe online footprint. Cast a woman that's been to prison for DV - essentials!

I think the reaction to computer lab this season will probably scare them off of these. Audience fucking hated it and it would be hard to do a 90s/office theme without utilizing computers.

I personally thought the lab was fun and the bit was dropped way, way too early, but I also recognize I am a tiny minority on that.

Some kind of indoor LARP (house is a castle with constant fairytale challenges, pirates, samurai, scifi, idgaf)
This is what I'm hoping for. They've talked about doing a space station style theme before and I think there's a ton of potential for it. Would give context for why they can't leave (no oxygen, they die!). Challenges could be the station going on RED ALERT for a disaster and themed around that. Have to wear flimsy space suit costumes and patch the inevitable tears/holes.

And so on. I think it has potential.

If Landon is going to stay around now would be the perfect time to start the "Landon's Firsts" food/cooking series. Sadly this would only happen if someone on production holds his hand. Get Landon to make a list of every food/meal he has had. After that each day pick something he has never tried and make him eat it then review the experience. Doesn't have to be fancy. From a frozen Banquet pot pie to raw broccoli just get the guy to try new things.
Not that any of this will matter. Jet seems determined to plan nothing and expect people to stick around. No one wants to spend 20 hours watching a boring house with hopes to catch five minutes of something funny happening. If four retards are going to stay in the house now would be the time to practice creating things for them to do that would be interesting on a consistent schedule. Help lower the chance of having another four grills on one circuit situation. Create a system that goes from a brainstormed idea to implementation in under an hour.

Unfortunately, there will still be hundreds if not thousands of people doing just that. They (wiggers) know their product (fishtank) is like Crack to the modern online loner.

get actual YN's in the house
This is why you don't have what it takes to be a jewish lawyer guy. What a legal nightmare. I'll just put it this way, if you took James Drake and Bashir exactly as they are and transplanted their brains with YN brains you'd need to have security on standby 24/7 and even then cops would have been called several times and somebody would have been sent to the hospital at least. A YN doesn't have the capacity to restrain themselves because "it's a bit".
