Also, I would not feel comfortable letting my child browse a game on the internet that has so much porn attached to it. It's like two spectrums: the overly innocent and the depraved deviant weirdos

I also see a bunch of people talk about the "lore" of the franchise for some reason. Kids shouldn't be allowed unsupervised and unrestricted Internet access though.

Parents are fucking stupid what are you gonna do? When I was 10-13 I only went on Neopets and nothing else and kids these days are uploading shit to facebook and Youtube

Stop being stupid or at least have some sort do automated filter? Again, Internet isn't safe for kids.

People have no idea what the internet is really like. When the more internet savvy people start making babies hopefully they will care enough to supervise their kid's internet time. Because I hate kids on the internet.

The (canon) "lore" isn't even erotica or anything that would be awfully inappropriate for children by the standards we typically go by (at least if we don't believe in coddling our children away from anything more than PG rated things), it's literally the simple-ass story about child ghosts in a haunted ShowBiz pisstake that somehow spawns a million theories about what the fuck actually happened. If there's a reason the actual canon lore is so bad for children, it's that they believe MatPat's dumbass show is canon fact and not just shit he's pulling out of his ass for YouTube money entertainment. Also a potential useless $20 dent in your credit card/about a gigabyte holding four point-and-click games.

The fandom and all its porn and shit are an even bigger reason to keep an eye on your child's internet habits.

Going to ask everyone to try and stay on topic, or I'll start moving or deleting posts. We're here to talk about cringy FNaFs fans, not your kids internet browsing habits. Yes, I know there is some overlap. Maybe start a "Deep Thoughts" or "Off Topic" thread to discuss kids and internet safety.

When I was 10-13 people still played outside.......
I think my 8 year old nieces are into this, fucking lazy parenting at work right there

My ten year old nephew tells me a lot of people in his class either talk about FNAF or MLG Montage Parodies: really hyper autism-appealing videos featuring video games. when I went to see him wearing a jacket with an Eye of Providence illustration on it and he starts spazzing out pointing at me and at the top of his lungs he screams "ILLUMINATI!" I was so embarrassed as he kept spouting memes at me in public as he kept dogging me to buy and play FNAF with him. (:_(

This is apparently the pinnacle of child entertainment.
