Five Nights At Freddy's

And now I want a scene where these new pointy-fingered animatronics are decorating cakes. With their fingertips.

Because why else would an animatronic have pointy fingertips if they work at a place that hosts kids' birthday parties?

Okay hear me out on this, but maybe Scott is trying to run the franchise into the ground. Scott is known as a fairly devout christian and maybe all this stuff about haunted machines and murder isn't sitting right with him. It could possibly be that maybe he's trying to ruin the series as a way of "atoning" for dabbling in what some christians would consider blasphemy.

I know that sounds far fetched, but it wouldn't be the first time a person with strong religious convictions turned on something they did either as a job or a hobby because it was weighing on their conscience.

If that were the case you'd think he'd just stop instead of making a last one.

Money can help lighten a heavy conscience. I'm just saying that maybe Scott doesn't like what he's doing now and that maybe the money isn't helping him feel less guilty.

This is of course just a wild guess as to why the series is starting to go stagnant and why Scott is trying to be more edgy instead of relying on the creep factor the game was know for.

Because my other guess is that he's turning into the M. Night Shyamalan of inde games.

Eh, I still don't think so. Just because someone is a devout Christian doesn't mean that can't like horror or horror games. I don't follow him or anything but he's never done anything to make me think he isn't proud of what he's made.

Like I said, just a wild guess.

Though I'm not sure why you'd hope he's pulling an M.Night Shyamalan on the series. That would mean we'd eventually get a FNAF game as bad as the Avatar movie.

Though now that I've typed that out I kind of want to see that.

Yeah exactly. I can always laugh at how bad M.Night is.

If Scott wanted to run it to the ground, it could be for another reason such as say being tired of the porn people make of his evil fursuits robots. And really, Scott wouldn't want to be known as the guy that made FNAF, not when he has made other games. Plus he would want to make something different that isn't FNAF.

as long as "the final chapter" is actually "the final chapter"
i will be fine
The next game, The New Beginning, isn't even going to feature the animatronics or the killer. It's just going to be some copy cat.

New image on the site.

For whatever reason, that new design of Foxy (the mouth area of course) reminds me of Gergarun, a character from another game Scott Cawthon made, The Desolate Hope. That aside, one could guess he might make Chica look like a ball of spikes and death.

Just thinking, have we had a setting yet?

I dunno, I'm fairly sure Fazbear's Fright only burned down in the bad ending? Just thinking if the place didn't burn in this continuity, maybe that's why many of these guys look a little... extreme.

the place burns down after the 6th day, so you need the good ending to close the house for good.
bad ending just shows how purple guy died in the suit.

edit: i just realized, if this is a movie set. why do the robots go after you?
perhaps the bad ending is canon, the ghosts move onto new robots or something.
we only see them taken apart, we don't know where they ended up.
and by they, i mean the possesed robots, not the backup suits or robots.
also i don't it ever shows golden freddy being taken apart by purple guy.

Oh so it's in all endings?

Though if it's a movie set then that also explains it.
Well some people have theorized the killer's bodycount was more towards 11 or so (that is, old+toyseries+BB and such) which case there are a couple possible ghosts left. Or it can be like a plot twist, that for once it really is an AI problem, especially if it's a movie set. The ol' "supposed to 'kill' you in the movie but kills you for real" setup.

the toy robots are after you because of shitty AI
and if a pizza place can have murderous robots in the 1980s, i don't see why a modern movie studio can't have murderous robots too.
