Watch Willy's Wonderland and pretend that it takes the place of Security Breach in the canon.

I cannot recall what specific flavor of gender fuckery was he called himself while FNaF VHS was running but i remember that after the animated video came out an he took a prolonged hiatus did he start with he/they and gender fluid.iirc i don't think Squimpus became non-binary until after FNaF VHS ended. I could be wrong though, I just don't remember him ever showing as non-binary while FNAF VHS was around, only saw it on his twitter after the fact.
They are just following the books where it stops being about the paranormal and becomes about pseudo-science and body snatching. If you thought the writing on SB was bad then taking a look at the books will give you brain damage. So I've caught up with the lore since FNAF 4 (since that's the last I looked into the series) and I gotta say, Scott fucked up big time.
This was the perfect ending, an absolute magnum opus for a story closure. Everything that has led to the events in the series, all the suffering and failure, completely engulfed in flames. The trapped souls have been finally freed, and William is finally burning in hell. And no trace of the Fazbear franchise remains.
Ironically this was the last FNAF game made in Clickteam Fusion, Scott's staple of hacking up simple but endearing games, both visually and storywise.
And then the VR game happened.
And William Afton is back.
As a fucking computer glitch that then possesses some bitch that then possesses animatronics in a massive Fazbear complex that is built on top of the burned down restaurant trap from FNAF6 because somehow the franchise fucking survived along with the old pizzeria and everything inside it.
And I really do not know who's to blame here, as I'm not sure who had the majority in writing on the Steel Wool games. Was it Scott that decided to fuck everything up himself or was it that he decided to give the new schmucks some creative freedom and hook what they come up with to the main series? The storyline after Steel Wool started working with Scott feels more like a spin-off which it should've had been. In fact, Help Wanted feels a lot like it was meant to be a spin-off, but somehow it has been autistically made as a continuation of the canon, and then Security Breach fucked up the storyline even further.
So in short: the only truly canon FNAF games are the ones made by Scott in Clickteam Fusion. Steel Wool can go fuck themselves with their fancy fully 3D rendering. Feel free to give me mad hats because I deserve it.
I agree and i think the most frustrating part is that it didn't had to be this bad, as you said the original mainline had a proper finish with a ribbon and all, but they (either Scott, the new team or both) decided to continue with a franchise that was practically done instead of something new, for whatever reason.I think 6 was a good ending to the original story and the Afton plot. Everything was really well resolved. Help Wanted was a good way to revisit all the games with minor tweaks and VR, as well as start a new overarching plot line with Glitchtrap.
Security Breech unfortunately decided to throw everything in and get very muddied once whole aspects of the game were cut out or changed but the rest of the game wasn’t altered to account for it. And then Scott got cancelled and opted to just say “fuck it” rather than put in the effort for asshats wanting him to die because of donations.
In FnaF 2 there's a cutscene where you look trough Freddy's eyes and see the Puppet staring at you "menacingly" also the background and room Freddy is in is the FnaF 1 pizzeria. As much as I think the guy's a dipshit manchild, this is pretty fair. This is supposed to be a remake of the first game, so why would there be more animatronics? Even the Puppet being there is odd.
But fnaf 2 is before fnaf 1.In FnaF 2 there's a cutscene where you look trough Freddy's eyes and see the Puppet staring at you "menacingly" also the background and room Freddy is in is the FnaF 1 pizzeria.
Puppet has always been in FnaF 1 but hid itself.
The cutscenes and minigames don't happen in realtime. But fnaf 2 is before fnaf 1.
How is this possible since the fnaf one pizzeria doesn't exist?
Actualy you're right. The cutscenes and minigames don't happen in realtime.
Puppet staring cutscene happens in the future after the 2nd game
Afton killing the kids happens sometime between Fnaf 4 and 2.
Outed for what? The plan is for both consoles and mobile, as are all the Fanverse games. There even was a Flumpty’s console collection about to launch right up until Jonochrome was outed. They’re working directly with Clickteam.
Grooming a 14-year-old when he was 21. The collection looked close to complete at the time, too, yet now it’s just disappeared, for good reason.Outed for what?
Judging by that ending where she is outside with you, all innocent, we have the "fear of having a woman being a provably evil antagonist" at fault here. Even Tvtropes tards point out she did actually kill kids.by straight up resurrecting Afton and yeeting Vanny out of relevance
Wasn't it always established she was basically being brainwashed, though?Judging by that ending where she is outside with you, all innocent, we have the "fear of having actual woman being a provably evil antagonist" at fault here. Even Tvtropes tards point out she did actualky kid kids.
I bet original plans for SB only involved that moving scrap heap.
Yes, and it was blatantly inserted in at the cost of the plot, judging by all the promos of Evil Bunny With A Knife that SCREAMED "new villain". That one ending oddity also feels like this.Wasn't it always established she was basically being brainwashed, though?
I always thought that HW was in a timeline where Fnaf 4-UCN were completely made up and Fnaf 1-3 was something akin to "based on a real story" horror movies. There is a tape in Help Wanted that reveals they hired “Scott” to conceal the real events. Which would imply that it’s all supposed to be fake in a sense, yet it… also was entirely real?
That would make sense.I always thought that HW was in a timeline where Fnaf 4-UCN were completely made up and Fnaf 1-3 was something akin to "based on a real story" horror movies.
After all 4 to UCN's plots center around very personalized situations, while Fnaf 1 to 3's main premises are very mundine in comparison.
haha holy shitGrooming a 14-year-old when he was 21. The collection looked close to complete at the time, too, yet now it’s just disappeared, for good reason.
