Five Nights At Freddy's

okay, where and when is this supposed to be?
is this after 3, in the year 202x?
i mean, it wasn't all wrapped up in 3. and it could be a prequel. but i can't think of where this could be.
a museum?

That was something that confused me about the FNAF 2 animatronics. If the FNAF 1 guys were supposedly possessed by dead children, then what's the deal with the earlier animatronics?

I reaaaally hate that new design. The main appeal of the animatronics to me is that they managed to be scary without looking too otherworldly or grotesque, sure some of them looked kinda ugly or a bit fucked up but they never looked any worse than something you'd find on a Disney ride. Hell even springtrap and the creepy ass puppet werent too crazy looking. But this just has that tryhard indie horror monster look that makes it obvious theyre trying waaay too hard to make them seem scary.

The toy amimatronics were equipped with face recognition tech which ties into a criminal database, but if you look at The Mangle you'll see it making radio noises and beeps and stuff. That's a real sound which is radio inference, The Mangle is trying to radio the police to say a criminal is on the premises but it can't because kids fucked it up too bad!
So we can assume that either
1. Player character is the murderer
2. The facial recognition is fucked up so they think every adult is a criminal
3. It's all the Puppet's fault bro

There is nothing that doesn't say that the player character wasn't already a criminal from another crime. The PC doesn't necessarily have to be THE murderer.

No that was in the third game, the second game the murders just happened

I'm not too in depth with the lore, But didn't the murders occur at the first of the pizza places, which was then replaced by the one from Fnaf 2 and with the toy animatronics, which was then replaced by the One from the the first Fnaf game that used patched up versions of the original pre Fnaf 2 pizza place animatronics, which was then shut down, bringing us to the horror attraction?

Essentially it goes
Original: Fredbear's Diner- 1 murder takes place
2nd: Original Fazbear's Pizza- No murders that we know of
3rd: Fazbear's Pizza Reloaded- Original 5 murders take place- 2nd game
4th: Last Fazbear's Pizza- Phone guy dies (we think)- 1st game
5th: Fazbear's Fright- SpringTrap is discovered, place gets set on fire- 3rd game.

The time line goes FNaF 2 -> FNaF 1 -> FNaF 3.

There was a restaurant, Fredbear's, that pre-dated the others. It's presumably where Golden Freddy and and Golden Bonnie/Springtrap come from.

Is it just me or does the suit seem to have a bunch of mouths/jaws attached to it?

I wonder if this is Springtrap or another animatronic. From the image it looks like a bear (the other spring suit, i.e. Golden Freddy from the Fazbear era?), cos the face seems different from Springtrap.

Like most other people I thought the FNAF series was going to end at 3. And it's probably pointless to try to speculate on what's going to happen in 4 when only one picture of it is out yet, but here's what I've got.

Four is associated with death in east Asian cultures. It's super unlucky, like 13 or 666 is in western societies. So in FNAF4 that means everyone and everything is going to die, if they haven't already. It's the final chapter indeed!

Yeah, I've got nothing. Carry on.

Well, FNAF3 did end with the props from the haunted house being sold at auction... Maybe the fourth game will have something to do with that?

I can't even believe it'll be the last one. He'll probably start going back in time since he's making so much money off these short little games.
You never know, the creator of Flappy Bird tapped out once he made enough money to live off of.

I think there may have been deaths at the first Freddy Fazbear's. In the Foxy death mini game in the second game, you played as the old Foxy and the location doesn't appear to be the same as Fredbear's Diner. So, that would be another five, unless I missed something.
