Five Nights At Freddy's

This would be the ending right?

As far as it looks, it may as well be referencing an event that was mentioned in the first game.

The Bite of '87? Wouldn't make sense (troll ending logic aside) given that's what's heavily implied to happen at the end of the second game (the final paycheck date is the night before the ill-fated party).

However, naturally in its place, the second game has phone guy mention it's best not to mention the "incidents" that happened at the old location and after the relevation that it was a prequel, those are events at Fredbear's Family Diner which are on par with the Bite. So, in a sense, this could be hinting that this is why the "don't touch Freddy" rule exists in the first game.

So wait, there were TWO bites then? Or did those kids outright murder Purple Guy's kid? Though here's another problem: contrary to popular belief, Fredbear's was established as not housing the spring animatronics in the third game.

It's not specified what the "first" incident or incidents were in nature, but Fredbear's HAS to have the Spring Animatronics - the third game doesn't take place in the original Fredbear's location, that's the thing.

Actually, Phone Guy specifically said Freddy Fazbear's pizza in the third game. And Fredbear's in this game is nothing like the mini-game (the one about the puppet and purple guy's car).

Oh really? When was such a thing mentioned? Did we ever see inside Fredbear's Family Diner in the games ever?

This HAD to be Fredbear's . And if you want to know when Phone Guy mentioned it, check the wiki.

Okay so I just watched the mini games of fnaf 4 and the ending. So I'm going to put this here.

Major salt required ahead.

The story of Fnaf 4 occurs before the bite of 87. The person you're playing as is a child who is scared of the animatronics, something his brother uses to scare him. The brother and his friends wear the masks of the animatronics and decide to terrify the child further by making him kiss Freddbear (no not freddy, Golden Freddy). Unfortunately for the child his head in caught between the jaws of Fredbear, who in turn bites his lobe.

If we use fnaf 3 minigames as an example of what caused the birth of Springtrap, the minigames of fnaf 4 are the birth of another animatronic, the Golden Freddy as in the ending the child is shown crying next to his pulshies as they disappear one by one with Golden Fredbear being the last. This also may mean what is causing the child to see the nightmare animatronics.

Eventually the child dies, leaving his father a bitter man who seeks revenge against the children who killed him, even his own other son. Yes the child who we play in the game is the son of Purple guy. In his rage, purple guy murders the other children who bullied the child, even his own son, but the soul of the first slain child, the one crying outside of the diner when purple guy comes and kills him, haunts the puppet who decides to give those who tormented the younger brother a second chance thus he gives gifts, gives life.

Eventually as the story progresses the Freddy Fazbear Entertainment company closes and purple guy is caught and eventually leaves or escapes prison. Perhaps the reason why he returns to the closed down pizzeria is because he is suffering the same nightmares his young son faced and believes that by destroying the animatronics he will be rid of the ghosts of his sins. But the children return and block him in the room where the faulty animatronic suit hybrid is. In terror Purple Guy dons the suit and laughs as he sees the ghosts not closing in on him. Perhaps the ghosts recognize the suit as one of the animatronics that were on stage when the tragedy first occured. Eventually the spring suit malfunctions, killing purple guy and leaving his soul to haunt the suit whilst the ghosts of the children leave, whether damned to continue haunting the pizzeria as phantoms or free from their suffering due to the give cake minigames, we know not.

Several years later Fazbear Fright is about to open when they discover one animatronic in existence in the old pizzeria, Springtrap. As seen in the ending of Fnaf 3, the exhibition burns down with the remaining pieces sold in an auction. Whether Springtrap is alive or not, the games have not told.

In conclusion, the Bite of 87 occured because a brother and his friends decided to torment the younger brother which in turn caused the infamous bite. The animatronics at the time were scrapped in favor of the toy animatronics, who in turn began to malfunction as someone messed with their facial scanners. This led to the toy animatronics to be scrapped and the older models to be reinstated and rebuilt. This might explain why the child has the Springtrap pulshie and how Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy were in the same timeline as Golden Freddy and Golden Bonnie. Perhaps the Golden animatronics were to replace the previous four, but due to their malfuntioning nature were scrapped alongside the original four in favor for the toy animatronics.

Anyways that's how I see the story.

The DLC Scott plans on releasing in October will probably have to do with
the locked case shown at the end of night 7. There's text above it that reads "Some things are best left forgotten for now." And at the end of night 6, the kid's toy Fredbear tells him "I'll help rebuild you", so that might come into play too.

Am I the only one who imagined the world outside of Freddy Fazbear dreary and dystopian-looking (but without the actual dystopia)? My first imagination running 'wild'...

The tapes from FNAF about the spring-loaded wearable animatronic suits do imply that there were more than just G. Bonnie and G. Freddy, either multiple copies of those two characters (equally lethal in their springs being tempermental at the "other locations") or the whole crew.

And it also doesn't quite address that whole thing with Shadow Freddy, a.k.a. the purple/black bear animatronic from the FNAF between-nights games that leads the animatronics to their doom, as I think he's around in FNAF4 in addition to Freddy and Golden Freddy as well?

I think Shadow Freddy is one of the victims of the Spring suits. Game theory theorized that thw Shadow Bonnie hallucination that appears in Fnaf 2 and the Shadow Freddy are the victims of the suits. Phone guy mentions that performers of the suits can end up dying.

That or a theory of mine is that shadow freddy is actually golden freddy's spectral form as there is no physical body.

How many fucking children died because of those fucking animatronics? Not counting Springtrap, assuming each animatronic "suit" is in fact a dead kid, the count exceeds eleven by the second game and this is before that goddamn 87 Bite!

Honestly it is never implied how many children were killed. If we were to use the original animatronics and the puppet, the number would be six:
One is the puppet
one is Golden Freddy
and the remainder are Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy.

Im assuming that the souls of the original five haunt the suits, both the withered and the rebuilt ones after the toy ones went hay wire. It is important to point out that the toy animatronics are not possesed, they are reacting hostile because someone tempered with their system.

the toy robots are not dead kids though, just insane AI.

also who are the 4 kids that end up causing the bite of 87?
they can't be the ones haunting the robots. maybe they don't show up anywhere else.
so many questions.

Then how does Balloon Boy pop into all this?

Like, going off of the third game, all the possessed suits sans Bonnie (because Springtrap = Golden Bonnie and Golden Freddy is the suit stuck to the wall outside the office door) show up, but along with them there is Balloon Boy who really shouldn't be there as he's of the same type as the Toy Animatronics.

Honestly Ballon Boy's phantom version is a mystery which doesn't explain why he's there.

One theory as to why BB is a phantom in Fnaf 3 may actually be more of Scott trolling the fnaf community, some of whom have labeled BB as the Enragement Child.

Same arguement goes with Mangle. It appears as a phantom in Fnaf 3 despite being a malfunctioning AI robot.

Another theory I have as why Bonnie doesn't appear as a phantom may be because Scott is afraid of him. No seriously. In one of the blurred messages in Fnaf 3 newspaper screen is that Scott had nightmares of Bonnie. Thus the idea of Bonnie being a phantom may actually have made him scared enough not to do it.

Huh, I always just thought shadow freddy was just a special suit the purple guy made to keep himself safe from the animatronics/lure kids. But 3 pretty much showed that he seemed to prefer using the springtrap suit so that probably isnt tbe case.

Also when I played 4 I noticed at random points when I checked the bed there was an IV drip, and another time there was a bouquet of flowers. Think its possible that the game is just a series of nightmares in the mind of the bite victim?
