Looks like just a mining pool fundraiser. Jersh actually did something similar with KF after the site's adsense account got kill. Basically he turned anyone using the site into a member of a mining pool and the proceeds went to funding the site until all the antivirus vendors got mad about it (there was a big warning when you entered the site and basically said if you don't want to mine don't use the site)

If you remember folding@home it's basically the same concept as that, just for crypto instead of simulating folding proteins or whatever it was supposed to do

I've watched a few of his videos over the last few days and the more I watch the less impressed I am. My biggest complaint is pretty much the same complaint I have dealing with conspiracy theorists elsewhere where they come up with a story in their head and then one of the people allegedly involved doesn't do what he thinks they should do so he just says they obviously did it anyway with no evidence or seemingly even any critical thought put into it, or similarly where people do relatively normal things that he ascribes sinister motivations to because they didn't make the most selfless, altruistic choice possible. He's also very quick to assign satanicpedophilepeepeepoopoo motivations to everyone which is just absolute bottom of the barrel braindead conspiracyslop and that's just in the videos I've watched. I've actively avoided watching any videos that look like they're going to go in that direction and it still keeps coming up
 
My favorite part of Thomas’s meltdown is the golems who are still his fans. They changed their twitter names to end with “Simulator” and continue to relentlessly gas him up Auschwitz style. Anyways I mention this because the tactics Bernie & Co have deployed against Mr. Simulator are the same exact ones that Kirt & Neal deploy against whistleblowers and their personal enemies time and time again.

And I know Bernie and Kirt are still working together because the thousands of dollars that was mysteriously "stolen" from Bernie last year was used as the seed funding for Kirt's $Anon token scam, which Bernie promoted.
