I just don't get how something like this could be considered not a big deal or the people who draw it don't make it into a big deal. DeagleDad put it perfectly; no rational sane reflex would see this stuff and go "eh, it's all in good fun." I don't mean other people's indifference and desensitizing to this kind of stuff, I mean people who still don't see the actual problem or underlying issues with it. If it was so normal or okay we wouldn't have made a thread about it for people to be horrified or more disappointed in another terrible subculture lurking within the internet. You can go to dark places to work on your writing or art or inspiration without resorting to torturing mentally handicapped, helpless, vulnerable creatures all for the sake of explaining how horribly you hurt them.

The thought occurred to me that as someone active in advocacy for things like snake and other well fare issues involving animals people tend not to like, this level of sadism and cruelty unfortunately isn't uncommon. I don't know if the people who like fluffy or yukkuri or jisso torture art also like torturing real animals like snakes and bugs and other creatures of the sort, but I definitely wonder if there's similar motivations at work (especially since a lot of snake and bug and whatnot hate goes well beyond misunderstood fear, given the refusal of many to listen to scientific facts about the animals and often gleeful demenors people have when harming them).

There's actually an article about them on KnowYourMeme. Not necessarily the best site, but it does have some informative information, like the minority of fluffy fandom are "hugboxes" which put ponies in nice situations or funny ones (that aren't about horrible mutilating the little pony).
There is also apparently a head cannon that shows how long these ponies take for a full term pregnancy. Yes, you heard right, they have created a biological gestation period for retarded, fluffy ponies that are essentially an OC from MLP.
There is also a section on what kinds of torture they do to the ponies and why they do it, apparently there is a massive overpopulation of the fluffy ponies- think chihouahouas in California- and they are often brutalized or modified to prevent more breeding.

Pretty darn informative right there. What makes these fics so bad is not just the content but also how the fluffies speak. It's so awful to read. It's more ridiculous than the dialogue of the sonees and roseys.
