Not even haggis enjoyers like canned haggis.

Never tried haggis, what's it like?
This brand in particular is very liver-forward since it's made for sale in the U.S, we can't get the really authentic stuff with organs like lungs so I think they overcompensated by adding more liver. Not bad though, if you don't mind that flavor.
Texture wise it was somewhere between ground beef and cooked oatmeal, it's also very rich.
Visually my dad compared it to "a deconstructed cliff bar".
If you like liverwurst and like oatmeal but aren't enough if a maniac to mix them together then you might like haggis.

I'm the only person in my circle that prefers yogurt and kefir to be either neutral or savory. Sometimes I'll add herbs, salt, cayenne and stuff like that - but everyone I know only likes the sweet version, with fruit, honey or whatever

I'm glue eater and here's my confession: I am a man of extremes, either I spend 6 hours making pulled pork sandwiches, or then I buy worst goyslop imaginable that costs like 99 cents in Lidl. Unlike Jewsh I dont really have a pizza day where I buy a pizza from serbo-turkish restaurant. Either I make it myself, or if I'm gonna be lazy, I buy the cheapest microwave pizza or hamburger.

And to be honest, I like them. In a sick way they remind me of childhood. My parents, as dearly as I love them, didnt always manage to put hot food on the table, so we'd eat microwave goyfeed a lot. Eating a hamburger whose bun and patty both have same ground up, fluffy texture takes me back. You know, when all the meat had been cut off the pig, and the extra refuse was just thrown into a chipper and that was made into a patty? That.

Basically me:

Also: licorice ice cream. Best ice cream out there.

I feel that. Granted, it's probably just the whole method of smoking meats is nice.
Vinegar on anything. Nearly every savory or starchy food tastes better doused with vinegar. Especially on canned spinach and roast beef/corned beef hash, but also on fries and hashbrowns and even on a cheeseburger. All veggies are good dipped in vinegar. Potato based foods work especially well with vinegar.
Pretty much. Most leafy greens are inedible unless you sprinkle on some peppered vinegar.

Bad food taste good when ate it as a kid, I love this little hole in the wall chinese place because I used to order my lunch there in middle school. Its nothing special and probably bad for me, but I always enjoy it when I eat there. To make sure I don't die too young I try to go only once or twice a year. I always order the same thing, boneless space ribs with fried rice and a coke. After 20 years they only increased their price because of covid. lmao

Also, do you have a good recipe for that licorice ice cream?

... tofu.... :(
im not vegan either i just like tofu

Tofu is good, people just don't know how to cook with it because they are always trying to make it taste like something else. Its its own thing, I dunno why it's marketed like that in the West.

I have found that if you are wanting to marinade some tofu something to help the curd absorb the broth better is to freeze and thaw the tofu before, then slice, marinate the cook it. But this works the best with soups and also you must use a firm tofu for best results.

I like marmite and have gotten other people around to liking it by serving it properly. You only spread a teensy amount on heavily buttered toast.

More unpopular with just my family and friends but I’m the only one in that group who likes ginger ale/ginger beer. Get told all the time it’s “an old man’s soda”
I like it with spiced rum but cant drink it normally, its too sweet and spicy to properly quench thirst.

My gran loved Old Jamaica ginger beer, it was just about the only thing we could get her to drink when she had dementia and refused pretty much anything else. You couldn't pay me to drink it though, absolutely rotten stuff lol

Anyway back on topic; salad cream is very often better than mayonnaise and I will not be convinced otherwise.
