That's because it happens literally all the time, it just happens to take place in Bumfuck Nowhere or in towns where the population has remained in the double digits for the last eight decades. The major rail disasters well known to the public(Lac-megantic, East Palestine) are remembered because they happened in places where it was impossible to not have them on public display, or because there was a death toll. Typically, derailments are seldom addressed because A) they happen in the middle of nowhere B) railroads are extremely tight-lipped about reportable train incidents and C) anything that could potentially disrupt share prices is considered a threat.

Nah dude comes out of nowhere and within a week of posting his video he was on a full press tour with multiple interviews, a professionally manicured social media presence, and a narrative that completely captured the leftist youtube creator community. If anything about him was organic he wouldn't have instantly flopped so hard when trying to carry his momentum. I did some digging and while he did get the spotlight in the media, this was 6 years ago well after the alt-right pipeline had been done to death by lefties. I was under the impression that this was around 2015-2016 from your post since that's when SJWs really started playing up the pipeline narrative. The fact that he appeared well after that does lend credence to him being a plant, government boomers are usually 5 years out of the loop when it comes to SJW talking points.
Honestly I wasn't active in any sort of political forums around the time so I only recall it becoming a hot topic on youtube after this dude appeared. Actually when I was recalling this dude I could have also sworn it happened around that timeline but based on all the response vids related it was in 2020.
