Formula 1 Discussion - And favourite driver?

Sargeant not only outqualified Perez, he also destroyed his rear wing before him as well!

When will Red Bull sign him?

WTF Sainz! So many shitters exposed today.

The fuck is this TV direction?

"Somethings happening and there's about to be a coming together, better show a shot that shows nothing."

Also the fuck are mclaren doing? Make sure Norris gives Piastri DRS to try and keep the 2/3 finish rather than giving the mercs free runs at them.

No podium for little lewlew, sorry sky you can't spend the next month slurping back dick.

"Rubbing is racing I guess" - Norris when watching Russell and Piastri into the chicane.

Toto was saying sorry to Lewis and trying to reassure that the take away is the car is good now. Will Ferrari stroke his ego like this?

Crofty was praying merc were going to tell them to hold station. Like why would you tell your future to wait behind the has been who's leaving?

I hope Merc ace the 2026 rules (not enough to be 14-20 level dominant of course) and ferrari pull a 2020 level downgrade. Little lewlew will be crying so much he wouldn't be able to safely go near Italy for fear of being Mussolini'd.

Perez is a bum lmao. Outqualified by tons of backmarkers, drives like an amateur and retires like a nobody.

I wish RedBull had the balls to sign Sainz.

All in all, finally a good race, especially after the nightmare that was Monaco. It had some shades of Canada 2011. I don't mind Max winning if he has to work hard for it.

A fun race over all. But also rather unpredictable. You think one car is going really fast but then out of nowhere comes another. Next race is Barcelona. If it is hot I would expect Mercedes fall back again as they still eat their tyres like candy

It's also a traditional circuit so expect the red bull suspension over curbs woes of the last 3 races to be gone. Then we'll see if the others really have caught up on pure performance or it was just a run of poor tracks for them.

Canada is unworthy of such an exceptional Grand Prix. In addition to the sparring on the circuit and Albon's unexpected slaloming double overtake, it was interesting to watch the performance of different teams wax and wane with the changing conditions. Russel by no means drove a flawless race, but he's carried himself with a lot of heart all weekend.

Yuki has been summoned for being late to to the gunt anthem.

George and Oscar have been summoned for the fun at the chicane (and for the stewards to find a way to give hambone a podium). They summoned both but since the docs are identical except for number and name, here one).

The promoters have been summoned for not keeping a tight enough control of the cattle that slipped though the MAiD retard cull

Perez summoned for driving an utterly wrecked car back to the pits rather than parking it.

Strangely no summons for the smooth operator reversing into a Williams.

That Williams cost cap margin can't be looking good after all the destruction of their cars so early in the season.

VCARB fined for Yuki not turning up to the anthem since they accepted blame.

George NFAd (not sure I agree Oscar did anything wrong by taking his line and expecting racing room but whatever).

Red Bull fined and Checo 3 place grid penalty for Spain for driving a destroyed car rather than parking it.

Promoters told to submit how they intend to keep better control of idiots who think and actibe race track is a fun place to be.

Active race track seems to be something Canada can never control: This was 1995 when Alesi won his only race

Some quiet rule changes, gee I wonder who's pushed for this and for which driver.

Presumably that means Antonelli is getting Hambone's seat. They don't want to make the Verstappen mistake again.

For those that don't know when Verstappen was kicking everyone's ass in F3.5, red bull and mercedes came with offers. Red Bull's was a seat in torro rosso, mercedes' was a reserve seat because they had Hambone and Rossberg on multi year contracts. That's widely believed to be the reason they kept giving lewlew 1 year contracts, to not close off the seat and end up losing talented rookies to those that have seats avaliable.
