Whatever Ferrari does in the background they need to stop. They allegedly projected Hamilton on P6 or P7 (yeah fucking right) and Leclerc who looked so strong in the beginning fell of massively. What the hell. But on another note F1 has become so close that even one old guy having a fun time on track can make the top teams sweat with their strategies

If I was Piastri I'd be questioning the strategists extremely hard on why they kept saying it'd be way too hard to make work for him but telling Norris to go for it and it's perfectly doable.

Ironically the closer the cars have become in performance (not counting mclaren) the shitter the racing has become. This season has had quite a lot of especially shit races.

Fuck this shit, only niggercattle freaks with piastri derangement syndrome (there are such retards, easily the most annoying of F1 "fans") can be satisfied
Piastri Derangement Syndrome? I thought that was called 'being Bri'ish'.

That race made me feel even more sorry for Leclerc than usual.

Did a small check and Hamilton vs Leclerc is seriously hard. Just for the races (excluding the sprints) it stands 12:2 for Leclerc. And Imola was only because the Safety Car screwed Leclerc over. And all Ferrari race podiums are courtesy of Leclerc so far

Ferrari confirmed that it was a chassis problem that screwed Leclerc and there was concerns he wouldn't have been able to finish.

That mysterious chassis that was putting 2-3 hundredths against Piastri before they pitted him two times at time when Leclerc didnt want him.
he was complaining about "cuts" after only a few laps so it sounds like some mechanical failure did him in around lap 60 when he started losing pace so hard. it cant have been the tires

Leclerc's interview after the race

First of all, I need to take back the words I’ve said in the radio because I thought that it was coming from one thing, but then I got a lot more detail since I got out of the car,”

“It was actually an issue coming from the chassis and nothing that we could have done differently.

“I started to feel the issue in Lap 40 or something like that, and then it got worse, laps after laps after laps, and towards the end we were two seconds off the pace.

“The car was just undriveable. But I mean, again, as I repeat myself, this was an issue and it’s an outlier. It shouldn’t ever happen again.

“I mean, I’m still very disappointed. We had one opportunity this year to win a race, which I think was this weekend.

“The first stint was perfect. The first laps of the second stint was really good as well. I think we were in pace to try and win that race.

“The last stint was a disaster when I started to have an issue in the chassis.”

So definitely sounds like a car issue rather than a strategy one.
