It's sus how Piastri who has been the more resilient and consistent McLaren is suddenly so slow.
he's bottling it. his last podium was monza, 6 weeks ago and it looks like he'll lose even more ground tomorrow. i blame webber.

If Pastry is bottling it, it's only because Zak is white-anting him big time. There's no way any driver, least of all one of Pastry's quality, could go from being so dominant to an also-ran within a few races unless other forces are at play.

i don't think it's controversial to say that both lando and oscar had a massive advantage for the first half of the season with their car. lando had a poor run of form, he bottled it, mental midget etc, but oscar does the same and now it's a conspiracy and he's blameless. maybe lando was lucky when his form wasn't as good because the car could still drag him through it and oscar can't fall back on that now. who knows - i just wish people were more open to calling a spade a spade.

it's not the end of the world you know, it took max a few seasons to iron out all the holes in his racecraft too. i just hope max goes on to win it so i don't have to listen to the bucktooths in england harp on about it for the next 3 years.

My position since the start of the season has been dear God not a Brit and I still stand by it.

If Norris wins it it'll go down as one of those seasons a meh driver wins by virtue of insane engineering. It happens and sometimes gives good seasons, though this one certainly ain't a classic. As long as no one takes it and starts running with some "greatest driver evar" and doesn't go to his head.

Hamilton impeding Alonso during practice. In response Alonso slows down and slow claps Hamilton. Lol I love it. I also love that Ferrari paid 100 mil to this totally overrated fraud only for lecrec to make him look pedestrian and even Carlos is finishing ahead of him recentlty.

Go on, tell me now he wasn't always completely overrated who lucked into a Mercedes seat with team mates who apart from nico had any ability whatsoever.
Hamilton doing the most English thing he can think of by abandoning a smart, working thing for cash upfront.

I still delusionally believe in Verstappen. The car may be a bit slow, but Norris is a legendary pole bottler and Max only needs a few positions to gain on Oscar. Let's not forget, it's the 40 point deficit to Piastri that needs to be reduced, not the smaller one to Lando
If Norris gains points Verstappen has to close a bigger gap to norris. Doesn't matter if he closes the gap to Piastri, alone, he has to close both gaps. Of course Mexico's first corner is just screaming "do something funny" so let's see how it goes. Espcially as Leclerc and Hamilton aren't always, let's say, friendly to each other
