piastri: "wew lads turns out when we can start were pretty good"
not a bad race tho it once again highlights how dogshit the cars are. and again the most exciting moment was ferrari racing itself lol

I don't see Verstappen leaving F1 because he hates the new regs.
It'd just be too retarded from a personal and financial point of view.
The man has a family to take care of. So leaving wouldn't just be petty, but incredibly selfish.
He still has a decent mid-field car, and if he wants to scratch his competitive racing itch he'll just do it somewhere else (unless he get's DQ'd again lmao)

As if Verstappen would have money problems should he quit racing tomorrow. Also, he has the options to drive something else like GT3 or even WEC.. Or he could do a full streaming career

I doubt these non-F1 options will pay him anything like the reported 70 to 100 million Euros a year , that he supposedly receives.

I genuinely forget there is a race until I get spoiled by the news in the morning. then I watch the replay in double speed. If you ain't got a merc, mclaren or ferarri you're not even competing. Frustrating seeing verstappen just stuck behind gasly the entire race
Thank God that isn't just "If you ain't got a Merc you're not even competing".
It sucks for Max to have this shitbox, but I hope RedBull will fix it eventually, they had that ""toxic"" environment where failure it's not tolerated but who knows how things work now with Horner and Marko gone.

Well ok race, but that's mainly because Suzuka is an amazing track. Most importantly my "anyone but a Brit, especially not the poncey toff" is looking better.

Plus I trust Toto to go upside the little cry baby's head and tell him to get gud when he starts asking for favours unlike fat Zak.

Some people suggest that Max doesn't want to race in F1 for anyone other than Redbull, but he needs to consider that Redbull may not be able to build him a championship winning car, any time soon.

Whilst I expect that George Russell will win the WDC this year, if Antonelli beats Russell, then I could see Toto offering Max, George's seat.

He already has Fuck-You money and can walk away from the sport. His real passion lies in racing cars and tracks he enjoys driving.

I watched a few laps. Verstappen was falling away from Gasly when I switched off. I've seen the Bearman incident which was alarming.

I noticed a couple of times, Crofty (I presume) going out of his way to mention when an overtake was done purely on the internal combustion engine, Even the most ardent ballwashers for the new regs know that it's a shit show.
