Not going to happen this year.what about ditch the entire electrical retardation
They might change the regs after a really unpopular WDC winner causes ratings to drop.

which is who? the obvious favorites to bet on are antonelli and russell and both have massive armies of stans even though russell is an obnoxious br*tish asshole and antonelli is inconsistent. underdogs dont really stand a chance because merc is so far ahead again and imo the hopes for a mid season reg change to allow others to catch up are 100% copiumNot going to happen this year.

I get the feeling that Russell is way less popular than most other drivers, in say, the top 10. He’s one of the reasons why I didn’t really hate a Lando win. He might be a douchebag but he’s hardly the driver I’d side-eye the most. Next to George, kid’s got the soul of a poet.which is who?
Maybe because those cars offer the raw driving exprience? Hyper Cars are hybrid cars so maybe most don't want to change one electric car for anotherI'm surprisingly curious how this will turn out.

Love the car, though. GT3 is one of the places Aston Martin gets it right.
Edit- Why is it always GT3 that attracts F1 drivers and not hypercars or prototypes? They're usually the slowest cars on track for multiclass events.
There's no hope of Stroll ever winning a WDC, so I guess we're stuck with the electrification enshittification for the foreseeable. Not going to happen this year.

GT3 is fairly low commitment, infinitely more available and far more "casual" so it's fairly easy for F1 guys to multiclass into one of those endurance events as their schedule permits. That isn't possible with something like LMH where there just physically aren't enough seats for VIP visitors and you aren't getting into those unless you're going to commit for an entire season, which instantly makes it a non-starter.Edit- Why is it always GT3 that attracts F1 drivers and not hypercars or prototypes? Those engines from the late 80s to early 00s are fucking amazingI did a small compilation how driving through 130R changed over the years (and regulations) Probably missed a few good cars but shorts are limited to 3 minutes
there's rumours that GP has accepted an offer from mclaren to leave red bull at the end of the season, apparently to replace stella.
the max depression cycle continues.
It's quite unusual for a race engineer to leave a team unless (a) they're following their driver across to his new team, or (b) the driver and engineer don't get along. I can't see Max and GP falling out after 10 seasons of working together; if their relationship was strained, it would have been all over the F1 press ages ago.If GP knows that Max is leaving (and it's looking more likely anyway), GP isn't causing Max any grief by going elsewhere.
I'd even bet solid money that GP is probably top three of anyone Max isn't related to of knowing what Max's plans are.
Good point. Who's to say that GP will necessarily be a race engineer in McLaren's F1 team? We know that Nando is Fat Zak's golden boy, and there's no way Max will play second fiddle assuming Pastry gets yeeted to make way. Also I wonder if he’s gonna be in max’s ear. What with a hypercar program now, imsa, and maybe a Indy 500 seat if max ever changes his mind
