Max got the expected 5 seconds penalty for crossing the line on pit exit.

The final classification has been released after all the decisions.

The result is Kimi now has a 20 point lead over his fag team mate.

Max promised the red bull founder he would only race with red bull, and he is a man of his word
he will quit f1 when his contract ends, I think 2028
Max is spoiled for choice when comes to other racing categories. I can't think of a top-tier category that Red Bull doesn't compete in.

I suspect that when Charles Leclerc wished to become a top tier F1 driver, a finger curled on the monkey paw. He stands perpetually on (to quote the title of James Allens' Schumacher biography) the edge of greatness.

Certainly the bridesmaids of F1 drivers though if he can't hack it in F1 is he off to WEC?

im starting to think kimi is the reincarnation of max.
I was going to say Prost or Button. He's not as aggressive or competitive as Max. He's really good at slow corners and throttle control on exit. George was complaining about not being able to control his sliding on exit while Kimi didn't have any issues even when it was a little wet. It makes me think Kimi might be a killer in wet conditions.

The difference in Norris' and Bottas' fastest lap was over 4 seconds.

Hopefully, because then Toto will have to tell George to be a good little cuck and help his team mate win the championship.
I don't like George (he seems like the kind of guy that would only fuck you if you confirmed you had a trust fund), but I also don't like watching a guy get cucked in front of an entire planet.
I suspect that Liberty Media wants the grid to get younger to market to the young crowd and especially the ladies.
I've been saying this for a while. It's got to be what explains the cute/cuddly nature of media days and drivers gaying it up with their teammates.

Yeah, he only needs to race for Red Bull...did he actually specify for what motorsport?

Charles is a frustrating little fucker for me. Driving for Ferrari may have turned him into a metrosexual bitch (and somehow kind of dim), but the guy can drive.

Max isn't a threat anymore. And if he was your main competition, the guy that you are most often compared to, and that guy isn't a challenger for the title anymore, you cut the shit, you sim race like your life depended on it, and you re-brand yourself as "the best of what's left".

That's why I'd flip a fucker to be a Ferrari fan immediately if he brought the arrogant little shit from his "inchident on the race" days back. There's a kid that actually wanted to win, and didn't give a fuck when his competitors were whiny little bitches about it...oh how the turn tables and all that.

This i honestly believe will be the true killer of F1 where battle hardened racers and those of smoother driving styles like Prost would struggle in this type of racing and in the public eye. Hell a wonderful driver like Piquet wouldn't even have a career due to his fucks given attitude.

I have been watching F1 long enough to see the driver archetype shift from difficult characters who would be good in a war, to individuals who could be mistaken for the rhythm section in Coldplay, to man-children who share common DNA with influencers who winter in Dubai. The sport losing its crooked teeth has been a tragedy but that's true of most sports when the money pours in.

For Fernando and Lewis, this is not the racing they won championships in, and frankly, I felt sad at where Aston Martin was on the grid today. I think Lewis is kind of a prissy bitch that maybe should quit to bask in being a celebrity and produce more movies and shit if that's really what he wants to do, while Fernando should just let it go and be a manager, especially if regulations aren't going to change significantly for next year..
I mean Fernando was champion BEFORE kimi was born

Not to mention moderators like Hunt would probably be fired after one race calling drivers idiots.

For the race itself it almost feels like Ferrari has fallen to the fourth fastest team now. The tyre degradation on the Ferrari looked like it was the worst among the 4 teams and then their pit stops were dog shit (they usually hover around the low 2 second mark, why did it take them 4 seconds this time with both cars?)

If Max were not a multiple times champion and easily the most popular driver, he would be blackballed by FOM/Liberty simply for the goings ons among his family and his demeanor towards the (((media))).

thats what you get working for toto. i want to see him fuck russell over and have the two faggots go at each other publicly, the german fuck is a disaster for the sport at this point

What are peoples thoughts on the cars and changes in the last six weeks?

I've come to the conclusion that I really just don't care much. Sure I make time to tune in when it's on but I increasingly question why. The gaps between the teams are larger than before. There was a point in qualifying, i think Q3 where Norris put in a lap .6 of a second faster than everyone else with 3 minutes remaining and I was just slack-jawed that the commentators didn't question it. Like mentioned above too, Norris being 4s per lap faster than Bottas is wild. New team and mclaren are fast but 4 seconds is almost like multi-class. Which I guess it is really, Mercedes/mclaren, ferrari/red bull, everyone else. At least alpine are doing better but conversely Aston Martin are absolutely dogshit.

And the stewards: They decided to not punish Max during the race for crossing the pit line, but they punish Bottas during the race for speeding in the pit lane? They punish leclerc at the end of the race, but only a couple years ago Hamilton finished with 3 tires and it was a "defining moment" for F1.

There's rumors we'll get v8s or v10s in 2030 or 2031. Great, but it's still at least 4 years away. I'm tired. To summarise,
Faggoteli cucking Russell of the WDC amd Toto firing him its the only way to make this dogshit season worthwile

Honestly, if I'd have been a fan longer, I might be invested more, but winter break killed any excitement I had because there was this overall sense of bleakness from the sport in general.

The star driver is complaining. The WDC is not anticipated to have a repeat performance. The most celebrated engineer who literally wrote the book on car design has developed one of the worst cars this season - something that was known before even the first race. There's more fighting over rules and battery management than there is excitement about races.

Hell, no one even bothered this past weekend to put on a driver's parade like last year's, where everyone was happy and having a blast.

The teams aren't happy. The drivers aren't happy. Why the fuck should I bother getting excited?

I have never in the history of ever caught a sea change this fast in anything as prolific as Formula 1. I should start taking notes and write a book on how this season is playing out.

You must be new to F1. When they introduced the hybrid turbo engines Mercedes was almsot 6-7 seconds faster then the slowest team. We are in a new regulation cycle where basically everything is new so of course you get bigger gaps. Heck, when I started watching F1 back in thew day it was "normal" that the slowest was 6-7 seconds slower (107% was introduced a few years later). I would wager that the gaps will slowly decrease over the next years when the teams realize what works and what doesn't. Aston has at least figured out how to bring the car to the goal and apparently they can also push (to a certain degree). But apparently they will suffer until after the summer break as they gather more data and try to allocate the limited resources to upgrades
