Seeing so much high-quality Fortnite porn I really ask myself who the fuck this game is for anymore. Is it ironic gooners who make the 'art'? Do zoomers still play it over fresher shit? Do adults genuinely sit down and play it? No-build would probably appeal to me but I cant get over the childish vibes.

I play with a bunch of adults, but said adults also have youngish children. We mostly play at night after work and just BS. I think the biggest appeal to Fortnite is that you can literally play on any platform with progress synced crossed. That and it's free with regular updates.

I think that's part of the reason why Fortnite is so popular; the whole premise is utterly ridiculous, but the game makes it work. I mean, aside from similar events such as above, you can have Batman, Mr. Incredible, Frieza, and Snoop Dog performing Paramore's Misery Business, and it's completely ridiculous but still both an option and can be fun. The LEGO mode isn't all that great in my opinion, but I know some people still enjoy it. Rocket Racing... isn't doing very well, but people still play it.

The game doesn't take itself seriously, aside from a few moments where the devs had political shit shoved into it for some reason, and even the multiverse thing was still comparatively lighthearted compared to what they could've done.

The LEGO mode isn't all that great in my opinion, but I know some people still enjoy it.

I enjoy the lego mode as a way to cool off but it's somewhat grindy and the rng behind certain resources like metal bars when you set town npcs to farm them is a bit egregious. There's different metals and ores exclusive to different biomes if I set up shop n one ofthe bomes should be getting the materials exclusive to those biomes from villagers, but no it's always rare instances of non grassland biome items. Recently managed to maxx out my stats tot he point where can't be killed easy by high level enemies like the fucking bone wolves in the ice caves. There seems to be a vague combat mechanc with a stunlock thing that I keep getting hit by when fighting groups of npc enemies. Speaking of those with the amount of damage they do in the snow biome you'd think they drop higher level items, but no ti's always the lower end green swords that do piddly shit damage to them. Why do they somehow merc the fuck out of you with them unless you have max everything? Stupid! Give me a purple sword if have to use a fucking purple sword to kill these fuckers!

I've ended up mainly just using the lightsaber weapon because whenever it "breaks" it just recharges so I got like 2 of those in my inventory at all times. The island area golems are a lot more fun and rewarding to fight than the brutes n terms of super boss enemies because killing them gives you more than just one fucking scale. Amassed a lot of granite and obsidian from fighting those even before I became nearly unkillable.

Fortnite's been buggy lately, the stupid TMNT turtle shell has been broken for months. I've ended up having to use Meowdas's paw print spray to cover up the Leo and Pizza one.


I haven't noticed any aim-assist issues because I play on mouse and keyboard, but non of my console playing friends have. I remember seeing a couple of tweets maybe a week to a week and a half ago saying something about aim assist, but good luck on me finding them. Though, honestly you may be right, because a lot of my squad mates have been missing shots they should have made. The people I play with are kinda, well, dumb and would be very slow to notice things like that.

that and TTK and time to fine a rematch are so high and low respectively that you won't feel like it was a cheap kill and even if you did you can get back into the action super quickly.

Outfits that they work on/don't are retarted.. Fennec the orange fox can wear kicks, but his white recolor brother cannot.

I learned this the hard way before they got enabled when I found out meowdas can wear kicks but meowscles default can't for some reason. Actually I don'tt hink anyone in his family but the newest hybridized skin that doesn't fit wearing them due to his outfit. I think the issue with the foot thingis the model size and possibly some retarded trooncode stuff but like if you can resize the shades for interstellar bass to fit fucking MEOW SKULLS' BLOATED HEAD PERFECTLY you can get literally any skin in nikes just by scaling up and down the model.

I hope we get some of the concept skins that have Eastern influences, there's one or two that I'm really hopeful for.
I expect anime out the ass this season, if not the whole chapter. I have only one wish and that's for Diavolo as a skin, because it would be funny and oddly somewhat cannon.

I think I'm just getting bored of Fortnite in general. While it's still a fun game to play and waste some time on with friends, I have so many more other games in my backlog to play. Epic's changes to it in the next year isn't exactly endearing me to continue with it either.

The Juice World event was actually pretty good, it ended with an animation that mirrored spiderverse.

I'm playing chapter 6 and it's pretty refreshing, bosses are harder to take down, tons of weeb shit, etc. But the weapons are fun enough to use, the sword being OP. They changed the battlepass price to 1000 vbucks and instead of tokens you're automatically rewarded per level. I really got tired of season 5 early on, especially that weird mad max shit so it's a nice change of pace.

Little disappointed I missed the event; was working. Still, glad you enjoyed it; not exactly a Juice World fan - to be honest, not much of a rap guy in general - but I do find the homage idea to be interesting.

I've got to try the new season out, then! I had enough fun with Remix, but this new season sounds solid enough. The battle pass looks decently interesting, at the least. Still confused that we're getting Godzilla as a skin; not sure how I feel about that.

I miss the interactive events. Juice World was just another concert cinematic that your character can (barely) move around in.

I only played a handful of games of Chapter 6. I'm liking it so far. The new movement gimmicks are fun, but its gonna take me a hot minute to remember they're there.

There's one boss weapon that lets you teleport across the map which is insane and OP. I hope it never gets nerfed.

Group of buddies and I won our first match of the new season against some fag that was constantly gliding up in the air, me and my other friend die but thankfully we won the match because of our last friend standing able to land hits on him before the storm completely consumed the map

Played one match, new movement is nice. I cannot wait for the eventual Yakuza crossover that I'm think might be Christmas (it is a Christmas game considering the "Die Hard" case.)
