They factually are: their intelligence levels range from “barely considered human” to “special education student”
Also, game itself contradicts the 7ft tall thing: BF gets called a “fat midget” in week 6’s “naughtiness disabled” dialogue

I have my issues with PhantomArcade but he is somehow the least egregious out of the main developers: Niggermuffin is a literal fat retard who can’t make a stable engine after 4 whole years, Kawaiisprite doesn’t even care about making good music for the game anymore, given how half-assed the Weekend 1 music was

Ninjamuffin isn’t the creator, he’s just the retard they got on-board to do the coding (although it’s mostly other people carrying the coding work).
Phantomarcade is far closer to the “creator” role but ninjamuffin uploaded the game so he gets labeled as such.
What he did was a complete nothing burger, some rape victim told ninjamuffin that his best friend was a serial abuser and some buzzwords only gays care about, he didn’t buy it obviously, said rape victim then threw a bitch fit about it.

I used to be acquaintances with EvilSk8r, the original character designer of FNF.

He himself said that BF and GF were designed to be around 12 years old, but then PhantomArcade retconned them to be 19 so that "people on Newgounds would be more inclined to draw porn of them".

On it's surface I can see why that sounds okay since there would be less spergouts from xitter artists harassing each other for drawing child rape. But this is bordering on "erm actually she's a 3000 year old dragon in the body of a child" type of argument. "If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck..." etc.
 
It's still crazy to me how much of a DNB this game is now that everyone's forgotten about it, its only legacy will be how much shitflinging drama came from it and the kids it helped groom and EPI into porn addition and digital rape, kek geg jej lmao.

I'm still waiting for the full game. I've been mainly following news and updates from the main team and ignoring anything and everything related to the mods. That's pretty much how I've always been doing it, really.

as far as i can figure, the big issue is that there's like one guy making all the music and he has to make over a hundred different tracks because there's like 45 levels thanks to the kickstarter goals. that alone is 135 songs to compose, and that's before you get to the "erect mode" songs which i think are remixes done by other composers.

I’ve heard the real reason it’s taking so long is the programming. Dave said it’s the biggest bottleneck, they use an engine meant for smaller-scale games, and the coders aren’t experienced. It still doesn’t excuse the time it’s taking.
Composing the songs seems like the least of their issues, most of the kickstarter reward weeks will be post-release DLC and the playable character remixes are all commissions from guest artists
 
Oh yeah, Churgney Gurgney (known for FnF mods such as Hit Single real, though his older, non-lyrical works are my favorite) made a whole ass album as Lord X (a derivative of Sonic.exe). I think it's pretty good.
Supposedly he started taking his career direction to involve more singing because someone on 4chan (most likely in the FnF general) said he had a nice voice, which made him go "fuck it" and make more lyrical videos.
