This is why people, at least a good group of them, does not like Jimmy John's. Many, many people have a myriad of reasons why they need delivery/take away, and not just because they might be "lazy". Some can't leave their place of work or even leave home.

This is the reason why I never have bought a sandwich from JJs in a long time. In doing this they screw over good, perhaps even a large group of loyal customers because of this. There are those who are disabled and cannot drive or maybe there are those out there who cannot leave their home because of their kids. Fuck Jimmy John's.

If this is how they advertise how fast their service is, all it shows is how arrogant and how much of a niggering prick the company is.

In every non-compete clause I've ever heard, the employee still gets paid during the timeline of the clause. The one off the top of my head is WWE's 90-day clause where released talent can't work for other companies, but WWE also pays the employee during those 90 days.

I can't imagine the blow-back JJ would receive in the media if they actually tried to enforce this (if it was legal to begin with).

Absolutely illegal in Germany, at least. You can't prohibit a person from continuing to work in their trade. You can not prohibit a burger flipper from literally flipping burgers. You obviously require them not to share sensitive information, but flipping burgers or building sandwiches ain't sensitive information. I would have bought Jimmy John's mediocre sandwiches daily just because I was on keto and their unwiches were a convenient, healthier option to anything else that was in my area of work. I tried to see if there was any sort of frequent rewards program like most other chains have, one of those stupid little cards where you'd get a free bag of chips if you made ten purchases, anything just to get some appreciation for planning on giving them far more money than they're worth. I found out the CEO personally insists that they "would never consider a rewards program for frequent diners" and told someone who asked the question essentially to vote Democrat if they wanted free shit. Fuck these faggots.
