It always annoys me when I see the Furry Purity Army come out of the woodwork to piss and moan about art showing fetishes they don't like for whatever reason, while at the same time claiming that their weird fetish is just "so obviously different" somehow. It's like they forget that furry is a fetish and a fucking weird one at that. Be into whatever freaky dark shit you're into, as long as you don't try it on anyone or anything that can't consent. Animes and drawings aren't real, so who cares what kind of ideas you get into with that. There's all kinds of gross horrible shit that's fun to think about, but wouldn't be fun to see or do, really.
There's been a return to "Ban This Sick Filth" kinds of attitudes on both sides. It's never a conversation that ends well. To me, whining about made up shit being immoral is just as stupid as Jack Thompson and his old rants on video games being murder training simulators or whatever.
Also, I dunno if this is just furries but I see it a lot. There's just something kinda insensitive about calling drawings "CP." Like that really compares in any way to actual documented abuse of a real person who if they're even still alive, has to live with the fact that their most vulnerable moments were filmed or photographed or whatever. Yeah, like that deserves to be in the same category of thing as some blobby animes. It's just not the same.
