As much as I don't worry that much over this, those are important pieces for eventual subs.

Besides, Neymar may return from injury but not exactly at 100%. What truly irks me is that in case of elimination, we'll have the usual turncoats going "Yeah whatever, Neymar didn't get to score and dedicate his goals to Big Bad Nazi Bozo :smug:". They even invented that Richarlison was this leftist stalwart for some damn reason. God, I HATE our journalists.

Well, fun while it lasted. Not a bad tournament overall from a young US team. I hope the Dutch win it all now so that we at least lost to the champions. Also hope Berhalter is finally gone after this.

Idk why on earth Australia decided to play so open but I am happy for it. This game is insane.


Going to be interesting to see Netherlands vs Argentina again in a world cup. For some reason, that seems to be a rivalry now

Alright well Australia made it a game. Argentina certainly survived, which is how they did it for the Copa America. Should be a fun quarter finals game. I don't think the Netherlands are capable of going full defensive and counter attack so it should be open

Argentina needs to wake up, that kind of performance will not be good enough against the Netherlands.

Not a bad effort from the Amerimutts today. They took the game to the Netherlands. I just don't understand how Dumfries is completely unmarked at the far post for that third goal. Embarrassing defending on that one.
 
Australia had balls and didnt shy away from the result.

Their silly mistakes caused 2 goals for argies but they never gave up.

It was way better than pooland. Which is going to be raped tomorrow by baguettes
 
Can someone help me find a football game an elder relative had when I was quite young (mid-to-late 90s)? I only remember a few things:

It was on the PSX
The UI was someone's desk (this is the detail I remember most)
You had a menu with coach's comments like "You have wasted talent on the bench etc."
If your team made it to the knockout stages you got a still image with players celebrating (one of them might have been jumping in the air. I'm not sure, though)

Sorry about this, but it is kind of on topic as it is a football game. I figured there's no better time to ask with all the eyes on the thread right now - someone must know what I'm talking about.
