Here where I live there was lots of fireworks. But I live where years ago when argentina wasnt in such sorry state they used to go on vacation, so I guess people are fine with them since we actually got along in other ways rather than just footie.

I am surprised Qatar managed to do a good job at it, given the stereotypes about muzzies in general.

I didnt even watched that moment.

After watching copa america 2004 and confederations cup 2005, I was so much hyped foe 2006 that we were going to win again with that amazing team. I was so butthurt with our elimination that I stopped watching brazil's games until a very specific game in 2014 (I wasnt even going to watch, but my mates called me to drink and watch it).

So after that, I started watching again, and it was fun again. But I never liked neymar too, not because how he played in brazil, but before leaving for europe he destroyed my team here lol.

He is still an excelent player regardless, and his WC performance was greatly affected by injuries caused by defensive players trying to stop him
 
Feels strange coming back to domestic contests after that wild World Cup final but at least now the dipshits can stop complaining about Qatar.

Carabao Cup was rather solid especially the City v Liverpool game but I think the highlight is Brighton getting beat on penalties by Charlton two divisions below them.

Who would have thought the first real game back from the world cup would be so amazing. Why does liverpool and man city care so much about the EFL cup?
 
Three more sleeps until the EPL is back. There’s something masochistic about watching a league that moralfags all over the place and talks down to you like a child, but the games are fun to watch.
