I wonder if raping another player on the pitch is a foul or not?

We really had a wild start in the 2nd half of Bundesliga.

Dortmund won 4:3 against Augsburg. Dortmund was leading 3 times and everytime within minutes, one goal even within seconds, Augsburg scored the equalizer.

Freiburg, ranked second before this match day, got murdered and lost 6:0 against Wolfsburg. And this wasn't even the highest win bc Cologne slaughtered Bremen with 7:1.

We only had two 1:1, every other game saw at least 3 goals.

A white card has been issued for the first time in a football match in Portugal.

The card was shown during a women's cup match between Sporting Lisbon and Benfica on Saturday after medical staff from both clubs rushed to help a fan who had fainted in the stands as Benfica led 3-0 during the first half.

Referee Catarina Campos then showed the card to both teams. The gesture recognises and praises acts of fair play. Fans at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon were heard cheering and applauding the decision.

The cards were introduced as part of an initiative of Portugal's National Plan for Ethics in Sport to encourage fair play and have been adopted by the Portuguese Football Federation. So far only Portugal has adopted the white card.
I know it’s women’s football so who cares but the English are such cucks they will probably adopt it too. And if the biggest league in the world adopts it, other leagues will follow. Pretty funny so many fans are dying suddenly from global warming that they need to introduce a new card.

Ok but what does the white card actually do? Like "Get 3 white cards, get 1 free penalty" or something or is it just complete worthless bullshittery?
Reading in-between the lines I think it just pauses the game, which the ref can do at any time anyway. Or it’s just pure ass pats for doing something nice.

Frank Lampard is the latest person being used as an excuse as to why Everton are hot garbage. Literally every major problem at that club are above the manager position but they will never fix that until Everton are relegated

Other transfer news quick hits time

Goncalo Guedes put on loan back to benfica. The 27 million pound winger has done barely anything for Wolves and needs a new lease on life

Memphis Depay has left barcelona for Atletico Madrid for 2.6 million. He had 6 months left on the contract and, based on all current knowledge, looks like a decent deal for all parties. Barca get his wages off the books and some money coming in they desperately need 6 months before he just leaves for free, Depay gets a chance to play some more, and Atletico get their Felix replacement. Apparently Barca have an option to purchase Carrasco as part of this deal, because Barca are fresh out of wingers apparently

Chris Wood has officially joined Nottingham forest on loan. Can't remember if I mentioned this before or not but the deal is official.

Trossard was officially moved and contributed instantly for Arsenal. The fun facts coming out was that Tottenham were actually in the market for him but didn't do shit for a while and then offered half of what Arsenal did. Tottenham probably could have used him too

Victor Kristiansen has moved from FC Copenhagen to Leicester. Young left back who you could have seen defending for his life against City in the champions league this year

Noni Madueke has moved from PSV to Chelsea. Man you just never see anything about Chelsea and making transfer signings. Good thing they got an attacker on the wing, they don't have many of those

Craig Dawson has moved from West Ham to Wolves. 3.3 million pound move

Josip Juranovic has transferred from Celtic to Union Berlin. Honestly didn't realize you could move from the Scottish top flight to anywhere but England's top 2 leagues.

Man City have signed Argentinian youth international Meximo Perrone from Velez Sarsfield. The 20 year old center midfielder is deemed to be a long term project but so was Alvares. Another scary signing for the future of City

Arsenal have signed center back Jakub Kiwior from Spezia. The 22 year old polish center back kinda came out of nowhere. No idea how good he is but for 17.5 million pounds, he probably can develop a bit under Gabriel and Saliba while being some depth at center back

It looks like Nicolo Zaniolo has asked to leave Roma. The two frontrunners to sign him are AC Milan and Spurs. A talented and physical player with no end product, it will be interesting to see if he can jumpstart his career after a change in scenery.

Jesus christ the state of Everton, club sources have confirmed that the Club is up for sale with Moshiri asking for £500 million. Lampard was already sacked and Leighton Baines had to take training this morning.

The club hasnt even finished the new stadium and would need investment to get that done. Theyre losing money hand over fist and are facing relegation.

R/Everton have stickied a cope thread

Everton are a disaster and Idk which self respecting manager wants to take that job. If they were going to sack Lampard and solve none of their main issues, they should have done it pre world cup so that they could have a manager who could have a mini preseason and a run of games to decide how to best spend this transfer window to fix the squad. Instead they fire Lampard and have no idea on who to replace them with less than a week to go before the transfer window shuts. This kind of inept management deserves relegation

I think what sums Everton up best is the story of what happened with their player of the Year in 2016. Everyone arrived at the ceremony, press, fans and players. Only to announce 1 hour before the start it had to be postponed a week because they had just sacked Martinez.

The club is in a fucking shambles. The stadium isnt even done and the club cant pay for it to be finished. Its been paid through some loans and the land Goodison is on has already been sold.

The managerial problem is now infinitely worse. Had they not announced the club was up for sale they could have brought in someone experienced to prevent relegation. What manager is going to join them now? Warnock?

The squad is shit, Gordon has checked out and Danjuma was probably the only bright light. The transfer has been gazumped and again with the club up for sale who is going to join?

I dont even know who would buy the club. Big players will likely go for United or Liverpool. Both are within 30 miles of Everton and have much bigger revenues, fanbases and better situations. Even the championship clubs up for sale offer genuine better prospects for a cheaper price.

This really stinks of them going full Sunderland.

I might be a little off on this but I think Everton had a slow decline since David Moyes left. Martinez was able to come in and bring some attacking football to pair with the defense Moyes had left but it was never going to last. It wasn't that he brought them tons of success but he was a consistent performer who kept the club playing a certain style and gave you certain expectations. Martinez gave a higher hope of what the club could do by combining the defense of moyes and his attacking style but as soon as the defense went away, the club was in a worse spot but had the big time taste. I think they have been chasing that high since then and also have seen clubs like Tottenham, Man City, Newcastle, and Leicester come to success which were clubs at or below what Everton were as a club maybe 10-15 years ago and they all did what Everton couldn't.

I think Everton are going to stumble for a while. Sunderland aren't the worst case scenario, I think Portsmouth are the worst case. Best case might be something like Blackburn where you stumble down 2 divisions and come back to the Championship where they hang around mid table.

They didnt plan for Moyes leaving, for me the real decline started sacking Koeman. His season was the highest Everton finsihed (7th) in the 16/17 season. Allardyce and Silva both finished 8th and Ancelotti (who the board shilled hard) never finished over 10th. They make retarded sackings and even more retarded signings.

Now Moshiri is saying the club isnt for sale despite the entire football press stating it was. Either hes chatting complete bullshit or someone in the club accidentally leaked hes selling. They deserve to be relegated this season given just how monumentally shit they've been.
It's looking like another American will be heading to play under Marsch.

He'd be a good fit there, solid work rate but absolutely no quality on the ball.
Not a bad signing at all from Sneeds United.

What manager is going to join them now? Warnock?

Retired and not interested in management. He was asked about going back to Cardiff and said no, most he'd do now is be an advisor to a younger manager

There really isnt any meme picks left, even Big Sam would tell them no after how he was hounded out for getting 8th
