Not gonna lie. Kane taking so much shit for his lack of trophies, only to move to Bayern the one year they fucking bottle everything is just *chef's kiss*

At least his breaking minor goal records and only has 17 goals in 12 games to go to become new record holder. That's something I guess ...
(Hamburg also dumped their coach, as they seem to be spiraling out of promotion, again. Meanwhile across town, St Pauli bounced back from their first loss, still in control of promotion at #1 in the table.)

Speaking of coaches getting dumped. Hamburg dumped their coach this week, same as Kaiserslautern (who got 70year old coach legend Friedhelm Funkel as new coach) and Bundesliga club Mainz dumped their coach. That's the 3rd coach for Mainz now this season and we all know what happens to these clubs.

Good thing Bayern lost so Juventus, Napoli, AC Milan, and Lazio embarrassment this weekend doesn't get noticed.

Looks like Kingsley Coman's record of always getting a trophy during the season is going to be ruined by the Spurs curse. That Spurs curse is insanely powerful.

In other news, Bayern have come out and said they will not sack Tuchel. Which means if they lose at home to Leipzig next week, he's gone

I wouldn't call Lazio's loss an embarrassment, as it was to Bologna who are ahead of them in the table. Mottacoin has been rising since last discussed.

Since I made the below post, Juventus has taken 2 points from 4 matches. Relegation sides were faced, a true hold my beer moment for Max Allegri
It would take such a colossal fuck up to miss Champions League at this stage
No lead is safe when this man and his haramball "tactics" are involved.

Speaking of Bologna's great season, it's becoming clear they have an emerging star CF in Joshua Zirkzee. The more I see him play, the more I think he would be a perfect fit for Arsenal. Definitely one to keep an eye out for this summer.
He certainly plays the way Arteta likes the CF to play. But only if he can keep his goal scoring form up. Otherwise, he's just another Jesus

The press is rumormongering that Zidane might go to Bayern? Truly, Germany will have fallen.

I'd be shocked if Bayern dump Tuchel ahead of a Champions League exit, but that might come as soon as two weeks.

Roy Hodgson has stepped down at Palace
I have never been so happy in my life. So glad the old cunt is gone and it only took him nearly dying for it to manifest. I can’t believe we got Glasner, that is so out of character for Palace, pretty sure it was Textor pushing for it. There’s a couple of good articles on the Athletic today about Roy leaving and Glasner coming in. Choice quotes below.

Don't believe the rumors. Literally everyone is going to be linked with Bayern over the next few weeks. Its just what happens.

They have a match at home to Leipzig and then on the road to Freiburg before Lazio. RB Leipzig is chasing champions league (1 point back of Dortmund for 4th) and Frieburg are chasing Europe (4 points behind Frankfurt). So both of these will be tough games. I wouldn't be shocked if they dumped him if he doesn't win both of these games but I wouldn't be shocked if they keep him until the end of the year. Bayern have been a shit show since the start of last year and they get bailed out by the rest of Germany being so below them in talent

One of our legends died today, Andreas Brehme, only 63 years old.

His penalty in the World Cup final 1990 against Argentina won Germany the trophy.

1708431901904.png

He played over 100 matches for Inter Mailand in 1988 til 1992. The picture shows him back then with Lothar Matthäus and Jürgen Klinsmann. In 1989 Inter won the Seria A and the Italian Supercup and in 1991 Inter won the UEFA cup (now the UEFA Europa League). Their coach? Giovanni "Spiele wie Flasche leer" Trapattoni.

He also won Bundesliga with FC Bayern in 1987 but his most famous station in Germany was 1. FC Kaiserslautern where he played twice, each time for several years, 1981-1986 and 1993-1998. When he joined FC Bayern in 1987 FC Bayern paid 2 million Deutsche Mark which was back then the 2nd highest transfer fee a German club ever paid for a transfer within Bundesliga.

In the 95/96 season on the last matchday Kaiserslautern played against Leverkusen and both teams were facing relegation to 2. Bundesliga. Kaiserslautern needed a win but they only played a draw and so they went down and Leverkusen stayed in Bundesliga.

That's a pic from after the game, Brehme crying and getting comforted by Rudi Völler who back then played for Leverkusen. Some of the most iconic TV moments in Bundesliga history.

One week later Kaiserslautern won the DFB Cup.

Kaiserslautern spent one year in 2. Bundesliga, ranked 1st and got relegated back to Bundesliga again. So back in Bundesliga again Kaiserlautern delievered probably the most iconic season ever in Bundesliga history when they won the 1997/98 season. An achievement that no team earned before and after them.

Remember Otto Rehhagel who once led Greece to a Euro Cup win? He was the coach back then and Kaiserslautern had a guy like Youri Djorkaeff in their ranks. Oh, and guess where Rehhagel was coach in 1996 when Kaiserslautern went down. Correct, he was coach of FC Bayern but the season was one of the first FC Hollywood season and they dumbed Rehhagel. During the summer break between the season he joined Kaiserslautern.

In 1998 after winning Bundesliga Brehme retired as player.

He then became a coach but his stints as coach weren't that succesfull. As coach of Kaiserslautern he reached twice the half final of UEFA cup.
In 2005 he became co-coach for VfB Stuttgart which was his last active stint. And who was head coach of Stuttgart back then? Giovanni Trapattoni.

Dude wrote some pretty cool storylines in his football career.
R.I.P.

Speaking of storylines.

In December, just a week before christmas, 1. FC Cologne sacked their coach Steffen Baumgart.

1708436338049.png

Some people say during his Cologne stint he became some sort of a coach pop icon, some people say he became a living meme bc no matter if it was raining, snowing or sun shine he always wore a shirt and this hat.

2. Bundesliga club Hamburger SV who sacked their coach last week just announced Baumgart as their new coach.

Now if Hamburg should rank 3rd in 2. league and Cologne ranks 16th in Bundesliga then we get some really wild relegation matches.

Ok now you got me cheering for a specific outcome in Germany

2. Bundesliga is my favorite league, very unpredictable. I love Championship England, 2. Bundesliga and Serie B for real foot ball not fake slow other leagues. You can travel in one week to probably 10 of these games getting flights across europe and enjoy atmosphere, I recommend people do this if you visit Europe.

First reports are popping up that FC Bayern and Tuchel agreed on parting ways after this season.
The absolute state of Bayern : From Ribery to Gnabry
From Robben to Sane
Imagine selling Lewandoski and going " Choupo Moting will score 40 goals next season no need to buy anything "
Eric Dier
The board wanted to troll Harry Kane

This is what made FC Bayern go on a 11 year long rampage.

I fear the horrors this season and Leverkusen's championship will unleash and the wrath of the Bayern for the next 25 seasons. May God have mercy. Pray for us.

At least , in case a foreign investor can t wipe the record of the Budesliga , when Qatar took all the national record in 10 years in france :stress:
