And once again, we fell for the infamous friendly trap.
Oh look, we played just fine against two European teams in pointless friendlies. This means we are so fucking back to be the feared Brazil of yore! The Hexa is coming this time for sure!

Then comes a real competition and we bottle it. I really don't see our NT beating Uruguay. Now those are actually fearsome foes. Bielsa still has it, and this generation is delivering the goods.

Bunch of pecho frios, god I miss tite so much.
And I miss Dorival in my São Paulo.
Speaking of which, fuck James Rodríguez forever. Motherfucker is killing it with Colombia, why can he play like that down here? Not that it matters, he ain't playing here anymore soon.

The spain/germany and france/portugal games are kinda hard to call

@DSP's Tax Lawyer it looks like you guys have hijacked the Calafiori deal from us. I think he’s a player with great potential but I suspect Arsenal will play him at LB, which he didn’t really do much of last season. Either that or you’re paying close to 50M for a Gabriel backup. Can’t lie, I’m a bit gutted. I was hoping for Calafiori to follow Motta to Juve.

Meanwhile Borre is losing chances just like he does at Inter, he should've lost the game lol.

Man I miss players like Richarlisson, he wasn't the best but he always had soul and tried everything to get tue ball back, yesterday it was only Rodrygo and Andreas even attempting that

Yeah that was kinda wild. Only explanation so far is "the player was with both feet on the ground". Like wtf is he talking about? Then again Germany wasted all their opportunities to decide the game so there is that. Spain was more efficient

France in a semi-final with only a penalty and 2 own goals scored is criminal behaviour.

Shame ronaldo didnt miss and cry again

VAR Letting that handball without punishment is WILD.
Yeah that was kinda wild. Only explanation so far is "the player was with both feet on the ground". Like wtf is he talking about?

The UEFA had an event shortly before the opening match of the Euro Cup where one UEFA official explained the handball rules for the tournament. It was open for journos, commentators and coaches. There they showed footage of past games and handball situations and explained if it would be now a penalty or not. Allegedely they showed a scence from a RB Leipzig match from the last Champions League season that was very similar or near identically to what happened yesterday and it was explained this wouldn't be a penalty. The reason is: it's now about the intention of the player and not about the position of the arm/hand anymore. Basically they changed the rules again.

The handball rules are a fucking mess. At least here in Europe, don't know how other regions are handling it. At this point we could toss a coin and decide if it's a handplay or not.

Portugal and France have been unwatchable in this tournament. It's a shame they couldn't both be eliminated today.

Yeah but I would hope Portugal vs Spain would be a bit more heated than France vs Spain. But none of both teams should have moved on. So far there were only three teams left in the quarter finals who showed a constant and good effort. Spain, Germany and the Switzerland.
