EDUARD COUDET ISN'T INTERNACIONAL COACH ANYMORE

IT IS POSSIBLE TO DREAM LADS, EVEN IF WE LOSE AND GETS ELIMINATED SATURDAY. IT IS POSSIBLE TO DREAM
Motherfucker fancies himself as better than the average Brazilian coach when in reality, he never accomplished shit in his times at Inter and Atlético-MG. May he never find a job in here again, the absolute wanker.

There are some insane people wanting... Diniz.

Holy shit just no, how about never.
Fucking hell, no! I'd hire Paulo Roberto Falcão again before hiring Fernando Diniz.

And imagine being so cucked, the first coach you contact is the one who just beat you the night before! Yep, you must have seen the news about the Inter board trying to hire Róger Machado for the job. Be strong, fellow Brazilian kiwi... It's gonna be a long year. At the very least, Grêmio is hitting the skids big-time.

I really believe grêmio will not be relegated. But inter situation isn't like other years where we had no good players, we do but they play like shit and also do the same shit every time without any creativity under Coudet

Darwin Nunez with his best Ron Artest impression.
The spirit of Malace at the Palace lives on in South America. I am so happy for this stuff tbh. Not all the time but the fact that it can happens means you have to keep the cameras rolling throughout the end of a match instead of cutting to the commentary booth. I don't need to hear Alexi Lalas give his shitty takes on how the game played out

OK, serious question.

Why does the media (and others) hate Southgate so much? Everyone says how shit he is as a manager, but, and hear me out...look at England's record since he got the job compared to their record in the last 20 years. This is the second final in a row for the Euros that they got into, they got into the Semi's in the World Cup...

They see as the team getting there, despite Southgate, due to the inflated expectation that it's "coming home", too loyal to certain players, too defensive minded, doesn't pick in-form or plays them out position etc, all of which have merit but it's more deflection from times when they get beat, again, due to hype that England are a great international team, yet as much as Southgate's record is great on initial look at it, though when you look at the draw/run of teams they have played before, once they come up against top 8 seeds WC or top 4 in Euros, they lose and media enquiry starts all over again.

Edit: missed the point how this has been the case with every England manager for the last 30 years...players are the best they've ever had, world class yet managed wrong, wrong formation, not balanced...

Hopefully Spain continue this trend.

Watch England in the groups and you get your answer, the dutch game is a massive outlier. The football is fucking dire 90% of the time and he stubbornly refuses to learn from mistakes, which makes even victories hard watches.
He has a reputation for cautious, safe football (imo he gets stitched up by Kane never being in position, but he lacks the balls to drop him), which leads to turgid performance that we still lose (notable humiliations include losing to Iceland a week before this tournament, losing like 4-0 to Hungary at Wembley and getting relegated from the Nations League). Hell, you could attribute choking the euros final last time to his defensive mindset not looking to kill off the game.

The general consensus is that he's had easy runs and good luck (we were 30 seconds from collapsing in the ro16 to Slovakia) and a halfway competent manager would have taken full advantage of the circumstances and done much better. But maybe he's learnt now, the dutch game was genuinely good game management

For Eurofags who hate England for being racist. Or the Americans, a braindead mutt race on its way out.

Just support your team and hope they do well, and ignore the worthless faggots who complain about other teams all the time.
No, thats the view from england fans who want to see the team succeed. Bear in mind the general viewpoint has shifted since the Switzerland game as the performances improve and the final gets closer. The media has reverted to a Southgate love in, the usual position they hold. Its telling of how bad the run up and the start of the tourney was that even his biggest supporters abandoned him

Oh you do not need to inform me how fucking retarded my fellow countrymen can be at the best of times.

But in terms of managers, we have had plenty of good success with the ChokeLord. I think people who expect us to be some world beaters who go in and play like artists are suffering long term brain damage. We can grind a good run here and there, and we have been getting far into the last few tournaments.

Same as people complaining about the defensive nature of our team, more so in the group stages. Other than legendary teams, most actual champions are boring to watch, as they need to play careful. If you want to win something like a Euro or World cup, then you need to treat it like the Champions League, where you must be cautious because a single fuck up can send you home. You play to not lose, until you really need to win at the end and you go balls in if you have to.

But no, England should try to only score with bicycle kicks and free kicks from their own half. That way the youtube generation can enjoy it, because god forbid something isn't a hypercut tiktok video.

This belongs in the Tate

Long shot with Yoro too
Now Zirkzee has been confirmed, I think de Ligt might be next week. As someone who watched him closely while he was at Juventus, I cannot speak highly enough of de Ligt. He is a top player with a winning mentality, I guess he just picked the worst time possible to go to Bayern.

Another thing that could happen this summer is a Sancho-Chiesa swap. I don't like it at all but apparently Chiesa doesn't fit in Motta's system and Juve are looking to sell him. After suffering for years under Allegri terrorball, Chiesa's plan was to showcase himself at the Euros but it turned out Spalletti is also a fraud who didn't know how to use him. He is an electric player when he's on the left, a massive upgrade over Trashford imo. He carries a bit of injury concern but if I'm United I pull the trigger on that especially if I'm looking to offload Sancho, who reportedly has already agreed to terms with Juventus.

I'd be happy with a shot on target before the final 10 minutes of the game frankly, if they weren't completely inept going forwards the blockbuster goals wouldn't be needed

It’s defensive and safe football. England arguably has the most expensive and talented team in the world and limps over the line every single game. It’s proper embarrassing for that crop of players.
