It's not even that bad, all he says is:
1- Liverpool were shit (subjective opinion)
2- Klopp is a prick

And lets be real, I doubt many refs have high opinions of managers considering they usually spend 90 minutes of the game berating them.
The city of eternal victim complex will screech endlessly now about it so thanks whichever of Coote's mates who decided to try and fuck his career by releasing that

The point of the ref is to appear professional. If you look at other sports vs football, the only sport that comes close to a ref's opinion on things is maybe baseball with calling balls and strikes. But the entire game is almost run based on the refs decision on fouls, extra time, advantage, cards etc. There are probably plenty of refs who feel the same way as this dude but you can't put it out there. That is just retarded on his part

Well yeah, but I doubt he intended for this to go out publically. The video seems to be something between friends, or at the very least an off the record, personal account. The vibe is weird in it so I'd imagine drugs are involved which would lead to a poor decision like letting someone record

it retroactively looks bad when you take the games they've officiated into account, Coote refereed that Everton game where Pickford did that double legged challenge on Man Mountain and basically took him out of commission for almost 9 months (and honestly van Dijk hasn't been the same ever since that ACL) and everyone was baffled why Pickford got away with it, it isn't a good look to have the referee for that game now being on record to harbor these sentiments against Liverpool because people will now attribute it to malice rather than retarded and incompetent officiating (and god knows the PL is full of garbage referees).

You dont even have to look that far back, there was dodgy call to play on in the Villa game on Saturday that luckily Nunez scored in the same phase of play.
