You should see what Fabrizio Romano is doing. He's made eleven different posts about him on Instagram rehashing pictures of him, his wedding photos and tributes from his teammates. It was nice at first but now he's clearly doing it for clicks. And his comments are full of people telling him to stop posting so much about him but he keeps doing it.
Surprised he didn't announce it 9 minutes before it happened

Only been waiting 3 years for him to officially be named. The fuck is wrong with England?
Kier Starmer is a confirmed Arsenal supporter I've been reading places that they could've charged him to stop him fleeing the country after his contract ends any day now. Though why wait until now and not three years ago? Again, Kier Starmer is a confirmed Arsenal supporter Who knows.

It would've been too impactful on Arsenal for this news to come out before he was out of contract. They must've literally stalled the verdict. Disgusting state of that corrupt police force.
Glad the last time I saw that dirty rapist, I heckled the whole time he was on the pitch, along with the other 1000s that did at St James Park on the 5th of February from the 78th minute onwards that can clearly be heard on the live broadcast.
If you see "well, how would they know", you don't understand. The only reason Arsenal weren't under as much fire before is that we assumed it was either a different guy, a false accusation that the club knew was false, or there was no way he would be charged at worst. The way Arteta talked about the situation, he smiled and acted like it was a false accusation from someone trying to damage Partey. That stupid facade has dropped, and they have a lot of answering to do.

First time that I've watched women's futbol since the Euros are currently running.
And I'm not going to lie, while it's not as dynamic or technical as the men's, it's refreshing to see that they are not rolling around in their own spit every 5 seconds when there was a slight touch from another player.
Makes the men teams look even faggier in comparison. The lack of arm tattoos and the same good damn haircut is also a plus.

He got released alongside Tomiyasu. Kinda sad about Tomiyasu but injuries fucked him. Partey was basically on borrowed time until Arsenal could get a full on replacement and it looks like Zubimendi and Norgaard from Brentford will be replacing him. Finally tbh
I'll be the first to admit where I'm wrong. Fluminense is in the freaking semi-finals, and there is a chance Palmeiras can beat Chelsea and guarantee at least one Brazilian/South American in the finals.
Its good to see a team from outside of Europe in the semis. It will at least make the European teams take the tournament seriously and the rest of the world might look at this tournament as an opportunity to gain more financially.

Sheffield Wednesday is in a world of hurt fyi. In case anyone wanted to watch that shit show.

And Nico Williams signed a 10 year deal with Bilbao, which is funny because Barcelona thought they had a Raphina replacement lined up

So PSG beat Bayern Munich 2-0 after going down to nine men, but the biggest story coming out of the match is Jamal Musiala's horrific leg injury:

Donnarumma was also in tears afterwards while the medical team was rushing over to him.

It was an NFL tackle, should have been a red card. Neuer called Donnarumma to task on that play:

Manuel Neuer also criticizes Donnarumma: "It was a situation where you don't have to go in like that. That's risk-taking. He was prepared to accept the risk of injuring his opponent."

"I went to him and said, 'Don't you want to go and see our player?' It's a matter of respect, of going there and wishing the guy all the best. He then did it. Fairplay is always a part of it. I would have reacted differently."

From the way they're describing it, it sounds like they're afraid to directly say that Jota and co were directly responsible by overtaking while speeding.
lmao fucking called it

All the evidence so far suggests Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota was driving when his car crashed on a Spanish motorway, and he was probably speeding, say police.

The 28-year-old Liverpool player was killed with his brother André Silva, 25, when their Lamborghini car had a suspected tyre blowout in northwestern Zamora province early last Thursday.

Spain's Guardia Civil police force said at the time the car had apparently been overtaking on the A52 motorway near Palacios de Sanabria when it left the road and burst into flames.

"Everything also points to a possible excessive speed beyond the speed limit of the road [highway]," said Zamora's local traffic police.

Hopefully this stops the absolutely insane deification of him that's going on right now. Feels like footballers are North Korean citizens crying the hardest they can over the death of dear leader so they won't get shot.

You don't understand scousers. They'll cry and ree and call the journalists scum for suggesting one of their lot was anything less than a model citizen

God this tournament is still going, at least seeing PSG mog mbappe again is great

I prefer the old format, at least it was done in like a week before

Its almost over but I don't think it was a complete disaster. A few teams got humiliated that deserved it and some of the non uefa teams got to show themselves. Obviously there is plenty of room for improvement but it wasn't a massive shit show
