As someone who still plays this shit it was incredibly jarring to log in and see the gay little avatar I made years ago has turned in to some weird pale thing overnight. I thought they were just meant to make the map look swish.

It happened in realtime, not instantly, but it was pretty disturbing to watch that cute little Mii they made you create in the original Wii Fit slowly balloon up as your weight went up over the years.

I’ll be honest I opened the character creator thing like a single time 5 years ago then never payed any attention to it which I’m presuming is the case for any other man who plays it. This shit is just too ugly to ignore.

I think a lot of the wiifit thing calling people obese was because it’s calibrated solely for little Japanese bugpeople who can’t comprehend a person not being 5”3 with a narrow build.

It’s a woman's game, they’d have to know appearance and outfits are a huge selling point to the game. They are either incredibly retarded or they want some controversy.

I'd love to know how this got the green light in the first place. An avatar update that makes you into a shapeless blob with broken cosmetics isn't going to encourage players to purchase more pokecoins. I doubt they will be fixing the older clothes. Anything that hasn't been made yet will look even worse on the shapeless torso and poopy diaper pants lower halves. And you will like it and you will buy more pokecoins.

They had to have hired some diversity and inclusivity firm that told them that the avatars needed to be more gender neutral to heal hurt tranny feels.

I'm pretty sure they "modernized" the models by standardizing all of them to a default male design. More feminine is out of the question, more weight is just a matter of choice.

Also never forget that people were paid to do this.. and i don't mean as part of their overall job, but actually brought in (or contracted) specifically to do this to the avatars as designed! Yet it's still "crazy" to suggest that the ugly in gaming is intentional.. "something something complexity with 3d models something.." Even this downgrade won't be enough to save any public noticing in a mainstream place.

GF itself is so completely cucked that they took away all feminine clothing options for PCs and NPCs in newer games. Added ~50 pounds to most female NPCs, aged 90% of them up and imposed a hard ~2-3/10 face limitation on them as well. So OC a western company simply working on the IP was going to do something like this.

I could be wrong because I'm a real woman and therefore don't think like a tranny. But I think deep down a lot of trannies know they are ugly. Outside of the Reddit/Discord hugbox reality hits their brick shaped faces like a brick. They aren't woman shaped and it drives them crazy. For some, seeing a too feminine figure on an avatar might actually take them out of the fantasy because they are constantly thinking "Why can't I look like that?". Therefore normalizing a less feminine figure in games makes trannies feel more "normal" and "feminine". We've seen a lot of this in games in the past few years. They want to erase soft femininity and sexiness. I don't think it's to make fat ugly girls feel better. I think it's to normalize a more troon-like visage.

The utter fear of letting someone see a male/female option on a character creation screen is absurd. I wonder if it's because they know male/female/nonbinary will never be enough. So if they add that third option they will need to add a fourth, fifth, sixth, seventeenth ect... If I was Niantic I'd just add nonbinary as a thrown bone and forget it. But I guess whatever woke consultant they hired had more extreme plans.
