Women's suffrage was a noble and necessary thing to fight for but that doesn't mean the first wave feminists were 'nice people'. They pushed for wars, started the whitefeather movement, some of them even openly advocated for lowering the conscription age to twelve years old because more men dying in the trenches meant more power for them. No matter how much we might sympathise with what they fought for, it takes a special kind of person to stand up and say 'No, society is wrong and I'm willing to be the person who publicly says so', and that special kind of person is more often than not a clinical psychopath.

As a feminist I will always be supportive and thankful for what they accomplished but I'm under no delusions about what kind of people they were. World history has always been written by psychopaths and it always will be.

Ugh, they linked to the alligator video twice. Don't these "journalists" proofread their shit before "publishing"? They let you do outlandish shit to annoying characters, it's one of the reasons the games are fun.

Putting aside the fact that almost no games allow you to kill children (I think that that's due to some censorship laws or something, I really don't remember, someone will have to help me out here) and that this game in particular allows you to do as you please with any adult NPC inhabiting the world, and locking off a certain segment of them from harm for political reasons would be immersion-breaking...

(Seriously, I don't care how many a-log ratings I get for this post, this is one of the most infuriating things I've seen from progressives in a long time. Their paternalistic bigotry never ceases to drive me insane.)

Also, you can kill Klansmen in the game and they are portrayed to be cowardly, inept buffoons a la the bagheads in Django Unchained, as compared to the suffragettes who you help out at one point during a story mission and while not outright angels, are far more sympathetic, so it's not like Rockstar was pushing a reactionary agenda or anything.

i remember killing those kids in FALLOUT 2 for pickpocketing me whenever i wanted to enter the shops in the den, they gave you the childkiller perk for that though
 
Very subtle bit of election skullduggery by the Liberal boffins at Rockstar being pulled off here, the Gamer-American community will be too engrossed in their cowboy game and firing imaginary sixshooters excitedly at representations of marginalised communities to go out and vote for Orange Hitler again. Why do you think they released the game so close to polling day?
