I wanted to stop posting GN stuff in the Linus thread, especially when it has nothing to do with the leaf, so here is a thread for the most based and consumer pilled Jesus impersonator of all time - Steve Burke of Gamers Nexus.

Consumer advocacy channel update. GN is pulling out of the lawsuit against Paypal/Honey, because a bunch of other plaintiffs have joined. Steve says the original intent of the lawsuit was to publish educational material about the process itself, and doing so at this point would jeopardize the lawsuit for the other plaintiffs. Also he wants the strongest case possible for the lawsuit. I agree and hope Paypal gets fucked for shady business dealings.

He also says the only remaining reason for GN to remain part of the lawsuit would be to make money, but he doesn't care about the money so he's pulling out. It's very refreshing to see someone who actually stands on their principles and isn't a colossal retard.
Similar lawsuits against these companies for also using shady browser extensions: Capital One, Microsoft, RetailMeNot (subsidiary of Ziff Davis, which is the parent of IGN)
Crazy to see how many companies were doing this

Capital One is DENIED (some of) their motion(s) to dismiss
Computer Fraud and Abuse act claims are continuing. This could be juicy.

Anyway post your favorite GN airflow moments.

I'm waiting for the extended Nvidia video he promised during Computex. That will be fun.

Also, Capital One, now where have I heard of that before? Oh yeah the Verge PC build.
Anyway post your favorite GN airflow moments.
His video on the 4000D is what compelled me to choose that case for my build.

I like when he reviews and tears apart pre-built PCs and goes over each way every company is screwing you over.

The ones from Walmart and Amazon were pretty lulz-worthy
His prebuilt reviews are just simply unmatched. Look up "prebuilt review" on youtube and anyone not him will simply glaze on the product unaware of the actual problems of the build, let alone the company that pieced the entire thing together.

He has given away Soo much stuff to ppl and basically helped like a dozen or so ppl either start/push channels or their businesses.

It kind of sucks that he has to carry a torch and pitchfork when dealing with basically every company; but when they can't even match an appropriate PSU for the pre-builds he reviews it makes it all the more important to hold these assholes accountable. Like user error in assembly is one thing but I've constantly seen a build with a PSU that just barely has enough wattage to run the PC with no chance of upgrading: that's just intention fuckery on a corporate level with cheapening out.

Reminder that 20 years ago the verve PC build disaster would have still eventually become an epic joke, while tons of ppl would be breaking crap due to some stereotypical fag that manages to be dumber than the average redneck by referring to zipties as tweezers.

A writeup for Null would be nice concerning the Paypal + Honey situation, since it involves Total Payment Processor Death, but I know neither enough about the lawsuits nor about the dodgy fucking extension to summarize anything.

I'll mirror GN's pre-built videos, but I also like the part-insider videos detailing either hardware specifics or behind-the-scenes. Like the ones going over CPU and GPU overclocking after the Gigabyte Nvidia pullout, or the ones about rendering pipelines with surprisingly non-brown Intel developers.

It would be a good idea to edit the OP to give links for readers who are new to Gamers Nexus.

Website is gamersnexus.net and this is worth mentioning since they recently redesigned it to have written versions of their reviews even though it doesn't make money. The site has no ads or annoying auto playing video. It loads fast and is a really clean example of what news websites should look like. Steve talks about the website redesign with Wendell from Level1Techs here.

Anyway post your favorite GN airflow moments.
The intro to the Yeston Cute Pet case is pure kino:

The full review is here:

TLDW: The main issues he had with this one was the price and the bent NVME. From what I half remember(was listening while gaming), out of the box thermals are fine.
Where the bent NVMe was the result of the wage slave screwing it in with the fucking spacer screw to the motherboard.

And the price should be a given. Dell custom-built and overengineered everything in this build. Custom motherboard, GPU, case, everything. Just because they could, but then they had to recoup the cost by making this build a waste of money if you're looking for "a PC that someone else built" and not "a Dell™ exclusive PC". If anything that's the bigger issue here than the NVMe drive, Dell has overcorrected their prebuilds in the wrong direction. Including using 12VO which practically no one uses.

EDIT: To not doublepost, a 2-hour long follow-up to the tariffs investigation has dropped on the GNCA channel.

To go against the grain of the thread, I find the tariffs videos to be his worst output, showcasing his clear bias against the tariffs by showing a pity-party of interviews from different companies. I find the Hyte faggot to be extremely disingenuous and smug. This also throws the argument that GN is apolitical, these two videos just show he is clearly on the left-leaning side of things.
