Lets break this down in a way that a retard can think. Lets say you have box. This box is worth 10 dollars. It takes you 2 dollars to produce the box. This means you get 8 dollars of profit. Someone comes up to you and forces you to give them a dollar for every box you produce. This raises the cost to produce a box to 3 dollars. This means you only get 7 dollars of profit. You want to have 8 dollars of profit. Your shareholders REALLY want 8 dollars, and will fold the moment a loss of profit is seen the next shareholder meeting. What do you do? There are two answers and none of them are good.

One big part of it is that china got a say in things when it comes to post/shipping and immediately declared themselves a group 3 country just like Gabon in Africa. So the Universal Postal Union gives them incredible discounts on shipping internationally. Doing things the ‘right way’ by changing tarriff amounts day by day, sometimes multiple times a day, announcing these changes via twitter or truth social rather than through any official method, and doing all this through dubious legal grounds that have now been ruled unconstitutional. The big news in PC hardware is how it is suddenly in the center of the government’s attention and has been at the forefront of things like tarriff policy and the AI push. Formerly consumer focused companies suddenly shifting to enterprise thanks to the massive boom in AI, how they have gotten into bed with the government to enable this, and how the government in turn has trampled over ordinary citizens in service to the grand AI vision is something worth talking about, and it is relevant to PC hardware when many of those companies are PC hardware companies.
