What time constraints to begin with? Is this a card that released 2 days ago and needs a benchmark stat? So that constraint goes out the window

Now let's continue with the Occam's razor of "we got this, we need to put together something in a finite amount of time". Okay, what do they begin with?

Yeah let's run windows 11 on a 20 year old card, that will surely work durr. Oh, it didn't work? Try 10. Still doesn't work, who woulda thought. Try 8. Still nothing? Well, I guess we're out of time! That's all folks!

I don't want to believe the above since I do strongly think that the guys there are competent and not LTT tier idiots

Lukewarm take but it really is telling that tech reviewers get free samples and will absolutely throw a tantrum at the fact they didn't get something free. Tech reviewers shouldn't get free shit period, it makes it look like a advertisement rather than a review, no matter how many times you say "(insert (((company))) name here) didn't tell us what to say in this review."

"review samples" is just another word for product placement.

You write like a retard.

It is SOP for people who review products to be provided with products in advance. That's because sentient people think that it is sensible for reviews to be available for products when they launch, not weeks afterwards.

The idea that getting those product samples for $0, whether they are returned when the review is done or not, somehow compromises reviewers, is retarded. If reviewers of video cards or cars or whatever paid RRP up front, that would not make reviews any more 'neutral'. From the point of view of a reviewer like Steve, the ability to put out a comprehensive review at the time of release is worth vastly more to his channel than the fact that he got the product free. The real potential for compromising reviewers is withholding review samples- which is why AMD is doing it here, in retaliation.

AMD is showing that they are, in fact, dodgy, by not providing advance review samples to major reviewers who have been mildly critical of the chink whore CEO.. and making those reviewers who did get advance review samples look dodgy.

Define libtard, he always had a pro consumer approach.
Yes, but we all know how that'll usually end up. Either he becomes the Technological Connections type on one end or Jim Sterling on the other, lol. All of those roads eventually lead to troondom levels of lunacy so he HAS to tread carefully with all this.

His main focus should never be solely on the "current administration" but our country's whole corrupt overreaching quasi-corporate governance that's always designed to push down on the little guys. So far he's doing great job in those aspects, but you'll never know how it'll turn out with the current polarizing climate.

Seething about tariffs and stuff isn't really all that pro consumer. He's not providing new information, its political commentary. Its not like he broke the news on it, or shared something few knew about. He's also not in any position to influence the outcome, so spending time on it just looks like picking low hanging engagement farming fruit, given that people are already mad about it.

Well, yes. Being provided stuff by AMD is a conflict of interest no matter what. Advance samples are not a good system because it puts all the cards into the hands of the manufacturer. They get to choose what samples go out, they get to play favorites with who gets the day 0 reviews and hence the lions share of the engagement.

If all the reviewers were on a level playing field and had to pull from the consumer supply chain, truly small creators would still have a chance, there is no lever from the manufacturer, and the samples are guaranteed to be representative. The worst that happens to the consumer is they learn to wait a week or two before buying.

Considering how much of the comment sections are 'man I wanna crash the whole economy myself just for a stick of ram', it works. That's the general gamer vibe out there, I guess.

I was amused at one of his recent videos he goes into 'well now things are worse because oil prices'. Which sure doesn't help, but that's a tiny tiny part of the vast overinflation of RAM/GPU/etc prices.

He says AMD is evil because Lisa Su joined the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, which literally all the other industry leaders are a part of.

I don't have a YouTube account, but Gamer's Nexus has been in my NewPipe and Freetube subscriptions for years. This video alone was enough for me to unsubscribe. I feel no need to listen to political screeds in my tech reviews. I'll stick with Wendell or those bongs over at Kitguru.

Yeah it's stupid, but when industry standard is to give free review samples to big media outlets, if you just don't do this for one of the most popular ones, it kind of signals that you don't trust this guy to suck your dick like Linus does. That makes it easier for you, the consumer, to determine who exactly is worth listening to, when you're trying to look up information about a product. Which is the point of reviews and videos.

Also you didn't mention that AMD also excluded them from information ahead of any public announcements, I assume because it's harder to make someone look like a crybaby over that. What exactly is the point of this, other than as a punitive action because the company just doesn't like them? Linus and the other cocksuckers will have that information sooner, and they will get their slop videos out faster. Great.

the type of nigga to say that LBJ's wife being the main stockholder of the company that the US was buying helicopters from during Vietnam was a good thing actually
+1 credit(s) have been deposited into your Palantir account, and your Flock profile has been updated accordingly

We could have a normal conversation about this if democrats didn't want America to be destroyed by cheering on people like Kirk getting killed for the crime of speaking, while defending low IQ niggers that shouldn't even be allowed to exist after randomly murdering people. But instead if you criticize anything about Trump, then you're the enemy. Which is basically true 90% of the time.

Hey guys remember when we were all criticizing Intel for their possible backdoors and shit? I guess it doesn't matter if Trump is related to security concerns because he's infallible, and we can't let the libtards win.

Palantir and Flock are mentioned in this video. Are you pro (jewish) surveillance because you hate niggers? The lobbying company for Palantir also employed Pam Bondi, who I thought was a dumb bitch that fucked everything up. Is she not a dumb bitch in this instance, because you dislike Steve's opinions?

They also lobbied in 2021 under Biden, who I am reliably informed was a pants shitting retard that falls down stairs and sniffs children. Were you aware of this information, or was it new to you?

Saying anything bad about the sitting president makes you a libtard.
Palantir and their sodomite psycho CEO is pro-Trump so not liking them makes you a libtard. It's pretty simple.
Louis Rossmann is being called a libtard too, even though he voted for this fat retarded paedophile.

Go back to r/dankmemes.
